Demonstrating Aeroplane’s typically flawless attention to detail and Tawatha Agee’s rich RnB tones, the timeless and soul-drenched ‘Love On Hold’ saw its digital release early in 2017 followed by a 12”. The next natural step was a remix package and who better to do the honours than a disco edit maestro and a world-class alumna at the school of funk.

Not a newcomer to dance music but a fresh face on the disco scene, Birdee wraps his remix powers around ‘Love On Hold’, beefing up the lower levels for a bigger bass impact while still maintaining the pure sweetness of the top line. A Glitterbox resident and all-time favourite of the global disco-loving community, Dimitri From Paris provides a ‘DJ Friendly Re-Touch’, lending itself to disco and funk sets with generous extended instrumental breaks and Tawatha’s vocal in full. Completing the package is Aeroplane’s own ‘Extended Instrumental’, letting the funking bass bridge and sparkling synth stabs do all the talking.
