My friend David Z (a.k.a. @blackmarketbrains) posted this incredibly awesome drum beat as an open collab. It was made using the korg Volca Drum which we both are fans of. I had this on deck to work with for months. When I finally plugged it into the DAW I was immediately inspired and this came together right away. Best played at high volume, hope you'll enjoy!

Being the first one under this series to be released in physical formats, the copies were sold out faster than as we expected, which told us the journey should be continued. And here we are, presenting you the third volume of this series "SPEED OF SOUND", making it better than ever this time by joining hands with MetaDimension Music.

Synaptic Madness is the music project of Marcus Thuresson, born in Sweden in 1995.

"Synaptic", as in the synapses between neurons in the brain; and "madness", as in the freakin' madness that occurs in these synapses under the influence of this powerful style of music.

His journey into psychedelic trance began in 2015 with progressive and full-on, and developed into a taste for the darker, faster styles of psytrance after a couple of powerful festival experiences. 

Slowly but surely an urge to create such music of his own emerged, and thus began his journey as a producer in the end of 2020.

The focus is mainly hi-tech with deep, dark basslines and entrancing melodies - but there will for sure also be journeys into dark psytrance.
