Ich kämpfte mich tastend durch dicke Nebelschwaden. Mein Gehörgang war nicht mehr Empfangsbereit für menschlichen Kontakt. Nur die betörende Musik, die durch die Boxen mit Schallgeschwindigkeit durch meinen Kopf gepresst wurde, war für mich noch wahrnehmbar. Bald hatte ich den Raum einmal durchquert und war überrascht als sich die nächste Wand als rauer Widerstand an meinen Handflächen bemerkbar machte. Ich musste mich an diese Größe erst wieder gewöhnen. Die vielen überdimensionalen ComRa Events haben mein Gefühl für Realismus gedämpft. Ich fand schnell gefallen an den geschrumpften Ausmaßen in diesem Club. Die Theke für essentielle Flüssigkeiten und die Auffangstation für deren Reste waren innerhalb von Sekunden zu erreichen. Hier hatte ich noch Kontakt mit Menschen und musst nicht nur Anweisungen von Maschinen befolgen. 
Die Wohnzimmeratmosphäre beflügelte meine Laune und ich entdeckte die Tanzfläche für mich. Ich konnte die volle Breite und Länge dieser Spielwiese ausnutzen und verfiel in kindliche Glückseligkeit. Ich fühlte mich frei. Der Entdecker in mir erwachte und ich studierte jeden Winkel des Raumes mit meinen Tanzschritten. Eine Treppe, die nach unten führte, erregte bald meine Aufmerksamkeit. Ich verließ die obere Etage und betrat mutig an neues Reich. Hier unten kamen die Wände und die Menschen näher. Ich konnte meinen Bewegungsdrang mit weiteren Individuen in diesem Raum teilen und die Musik verschlang unseren Geist. Hier ließen wir uns treiben, um von den Melodien von Yeröm aufgefangen zu werden. Er verzauberte diesen kleinen Keller mit seinen treibenden Tracks und verschaffte uns ein bleibendes Erlebnis.

Sync Forward is proud to present Alexskyspirit's comeback to the label with his 'Strange Anomaly' EP, delivering two striking tracks, featuring remixes from Timo Veranta and Kalkara.

The first track entitled "Strange Anomaly", is a deep and dark composition, with a hypnotic arpeggio, dark tone sounds, and crispy drums.

Up next comes "Dubsphere", a fantastically well-produced track featuring dubby chords and brightly phased synths with a strong Neurofunk undertone.

The first remix of "Strange Anomaly" comes from label regular Timo Veranta. A Housier interpretation of the original, while keeping true to itself, it's an intense track with it's grumbling rolling bass and groove percussion.

Last but not least is the remix of "Dubsphere" by Kalkara. A brilliantly executed driving techno, with a heavy bass line and the sharpest of drums. Cleverly arranged, complementing the release flawlessly.

What do you do to get into a creative state?
"My creative state depends on the mood. I can not force myself to come up with something creative, so mostly I just try out some things and when it works, I try to get as much as possible out of this workflow."

Where do you draw your inspiration from?
"I get the most inspiration from my favorite artists and the style of their music. Also, I try to express memories and emotions into my music, which also influences the result."

What do you love most about being an artist?
"Getting to know people from all over the world with the same passion for music. It makes me connect with other people on a different level. Getting input and feedback from all kinds of different cultures is so interesting to me. That’s why I try to spread my music to labels from different countries."

Do you have a morning routine?
"Most of the times the basic stuff. Drinking a coffee with my breakfast and taking a shower after that. Except after going out, then I prefer to sleep the whole day."

What, for you, is the purpose of art?
"To make something that you like and to express the feelings that you want. People who feel the same way can then connect with it very easily."

What makes you laugh?
"The Worst Techno Memes Ever Group Page."
