Echoes of Dawn is a musical journey created without borders, driven purely by feeling and the desire to explore sound in any territory without aiming for a specific genre. It reflects a freedom in music creation, where each track was allowed to evolve naturally over time.

Balanced and Sunrise were both recorded live through spontaneous studio jams, experimenting with decay, filters, and modular synthesizer sounds. These tracks found their place in my sets, often used to balance the mood during late-night or after-hours moments. The entire album spans many years, with some tracks dating back to 2013, only reaching their final form recently.

This project represents more than just dancefloor moments. It’s a deep, personal expression of evenings and mornings spent crafting sound, whatever felt right in the moment. Lead to the Chords, Say It, Mindset, and 2Ms bring energy to the dancefloor, while tracks like Modular Mornings and Afternoon Jazz are designed for more introspective, home listening experiences.

I'm incredibly thankful to Marc Romboy for recognizing the depth and range of these tracks, compiling them into an album that tells a story I may not have released otherwise.

Celebrando dos décadas al mando del techno más potente, Sisko Electrofanatik presenta su primer álbum de estudio, Starboy, que verá la luz el próximo viernes 25 de abril a través de su sello Gain Records. En exclusiva para Vicious Mag, adelantamos “Ziggurath”, una de las piezas más oscuras, tensas y contundentes del LP.

Con un bajo palpitante y una línea de sintetizador abrasiva, "Ziggurath" encarna el espíritu más intenso del techno de hora punta. Es un corte diseñado para la pista, cargado de tensión y densidad atmosférica, donde la arquitectura sonora se despliega como una estructura mística y poderosa —haciendo honor a su nombre.

Este tema forma parte de un álbum compuesto por 15 cortes que recorren un amplio espectro estilístico, desde el techno progresivo hasta el acid más crudo, pasando por momentos de downtempo e incluso house minimalista. Starboy no solo representa un hito en la carrera del productor romano, sino también una celebración de su legado en la escena electrónica, con apoyos ya confirmados por figuras como Carl Cox, que ha pinchado varios tracks del álbum, incluido el cierre “Alter Ego”.

En activo desde principios de los 2000, Sisko Electrofanatik ha sido editado por sellos como Intec, We Are The Brave, Terminal M y Codex, pero es en Gain Records, su propia plataforma, donde más ha consolidado su visión artística: una marca registrada del techno potente, mental y eficaz.

“Ziggurath” es una de esas piezas que no necesita ser explicada. Solo hay que subir el volumen y dejarse arrastrar por su fuerza ritual.

Synchrohm, aka Carsten Ohm, was born in Germany in 1980 and played his first turntables at the age of 14.
He started using Traktor around 2010. Since November 2024, he has been experimenting with Ableton Live...
His music is light and driving, yet full of energy. A blend of techno, deep house, acid, and psychedelic elements.

There were isolated performances at Butan - Wuppertal, Fusion - Münster, Sams - Bochum, Zeche Unter Tage - Sprockhövel, Sobieski - Bochum, SAMS Bochum but Synchrohm mostly played  for friends or at illegal parties in his area. But always with passion.

For him, music is his driving force.
