His first encounter with the mixer came at just 16 years old. Raised within the late ’90s clubber culture, he made his debut as a minimalist in the Italian electronic scene. Over time, music evolved, and he evolved with it. In 2023 he released his first EP Basic, and the following year he founded the label @synchronicrecords in Bologna. In 2025 he launched a new project with @minima-records, a label specialized in the distribution of vinyl and digital releases dedicated to a purely minimal sound. From vinyl to DAWs, from drum machines to synthesizers, today Val Urbanbeat explores and experiments with a forward-looking sound, both as a DJ and as a producer.

4HandsDJs is the new project created by two DJs and producers from Bologna, Badbase aka Matic (Zero Gravity) and Who is Cupo aka Xpeaker (Touch Response), united by a passion for Techno and determined to bring forward the most authentic sounds of the genre. Specializing in the use of vinyl, the two artists explore a vast sonic territory that ranges from dub to acid, from hard techno to tech house.
