We are back after our summer break and our fifty-sixth chapter is for London-based Galician dj Lex G. This vinyl enthusiast and regular dj at Planet Wax stores parties runs the Gunfinger Food label, releasing broken beats ranging from electro, breakbeat and sounds close to jungle style.

Gladiocast #56 - Lex G

For our next journey we welcome @djmavofficial , producer and live techno performer from Dublin. Active since the early 2000s, she found her voice in the underground alternative scene, where music and identity intertwine.

With roots in rock and metal, her sound blends into industrial and dark techno touched by EBM and aggrotech. Heavy grooves, minimal melodies and raw vocals guide the listener through an intense, hypnotic ride.

Recorded at Dublin Modular in June 2025.

Across ten tracks, Thawed Psychedelic Rhizomes unfolds a dense yet fluid narrative, a sonic organism that spans from ambient soundscapes to a psychedelic reading of electronic dance music.
Rather than settling into one mood, the album flows through shifting forms and tonalities, woven into a sound that remains distinctly its own. Layers bloom and dissolve, echoing Kordian’s diverse background in experimental and acoustic music, while maintaining a sense of introspection and organic motion.
