Between the Lines

This is part of the soundtrack I was writing many years ago for our videogame Cardhalia. Dwundur was a main city in the game. We were making the game with friends as kids, unfortunately it was never released. I have written the first 40 seconds of this piece when I was 16yo and then couldn't figure out how to continue with it. It was a nice challenge to return to this piece and "finish" it after almost 30 years later. With nowadays tools it is so much easier, with proper DAW and instrument libraries (and skills and experience). This is Spitfire Symphony Orchestra and PianoTeq. I mean, I'm no master, just a plain amateur, but it is such a fun to play with all the instruments of the full orchestra!

Besides, Two Steps From Hell is THE BEST thing that happened to music in this century so far, so why not to pay this little tribute to those guys! And to Mark Fowler, who wrote this cover (with few changes of mine)...
