Debutants on the label, Vexxy & Jato bring a blend of grime and wave textures to Terrorhythm in the shape of this single - featuring an original from each producer and a remix returned both ways. 

Vexxy's "Night Shift" takes classic square bass grime production as it's root, with Jato adding elements of ethereal soundscapes and string work to give it a darker and quite sinister edge. The original version of this remix contained vocal cuts from RnB singer Brandy - obviously too hot for streaming platforms - that one off version is included in the "Deluxe" version which is available only directly from Terrorhythm on Bandcamp. 

Moving onto "Nylon" from Jato, this one is a neo futuristic number which has elements of classic Ruff Sqwad production to it almost. An absolute whirlwind of an instrumental which is flipped into a hefty outing by Vexxy on the flip. This EP firmly establishes these two up and comers as ones to watch.

Jato - Nylon

The release of PATCH 2 signals a new phase for SYNES, an exciting up-and-coming music label based in London. This 14-track compilation is a culmination of years of work, building on previous collaborations with an exciting community of artists to regularly release singles and grow their monthly SYNES Radio show. PATCH 2 boasts a wide range of genres and influences, bringing together producers spanning from Arizona to Finland and combining pulsating, weighty, grime-inflected vibes with soft, organic elements. 

      In the year since the release of PATCH 1, SYNES have put out singles from FVBIO, Eone, Vexxy, Pholo x Jato, and HEATDEATH1992, with each building on the last and resulting in an impressive overall catalogue. Some of these artists make a big return with tracks on PATCH 2, along with others from the likes of Sombra, Montblanko, Yedgar and B:Thorough. With techy bass riffs and tremoring melodies, PATCH 2 maintains a fever pitch throughout and forms an electrifying and gratifying whole, offering a compelling glimpse into the future of grime and bass music.

Vexxy - Dial Tone EP

Stepping in for his debut EP, Vexxy serves up his long-awaited project entitled, Dial Tone.
Five tracks, which capture an overall insight into the sound and production in which Vexxy has grasped the attention of names such as Plastician / Terrorhythm, Liquid Ritual, and more.
Track 1 'Dial Tone', Track 3 '12:01 AM' and Track 5 'Want U' showcase a more forward-thinking concept into the experimental side of bass, dubstep, and drill, whilst complemented with the short sound design interludes of Track 2 '12:00 AM' and Track 4 'Want Me' which seamlessly flows the mix of ep.
Expect much more in the future as Vexxy continues to push the boundaries and definition of 140bpm music.
