Invocation (a Glenn Sogge and synkrotron collaboration)

Stan (https://soundcloud.com/boson_spin), Glenn (https://soundcloud.com/glenn-sogge) and I uploaded two WAV files each, some tonal, some not so, and we each mixed and tweaked away to come up with a set of experimental tracks.

It was a most enjoyable experience and I am quite pleased with the results all round.

Direct Aural Synaptic Input is recommended. If that is not possible then headphones will do. Please do not listen via a mobile telephone device... Your telephone's GPS will provide your location and you will be tracked down and given a lecture on the importance of stereophonic sound.

For Stan and Glenn: I utilised all six tracks on this piece. Stan's tracks appear to feature heavily, mainly due to them being the most tonal of the six. Additional reverb and delay was used but nothing else as I wanted to retain as much essence of the original content. If you know what I mean...

This is a remix of Boson Spin's original piece:-

No other sound sources were use.

The original track was reversed and sent to instances of Adaptiverb, MMultiBandGranular and Guitar Rig (x2). Much automation used on sends.

Much effects were used to the greatest extent of my knowledge including Guitar Rig, Adaptiverb and MMultiBandGranular, plus the usual copious amounts of reverb and delay effects.

Sevenism kindly provided a base track (the gently undulating melodic string sounds playing from start to finish) for me to work with. I added some lingering pads, some adaptiverb & voilà !!
