Hailing from Austin, Texas, heavy hitter Lazy K throws down basslines in ways you just can’t replicate. His musical journey began when he started DJing events in 2009 and then, in 2011, he started producing music. Finding his own unique and aggressive place between trap, riddim and dubstep, he has been able to create amazing music that continuously stands out to listeners. When playing live, his combination of heavy and wonky sounds packs an unexpected punch that always excites the crowd. His passion for music is evident in his work whether he is producing or DJing, which has helped him make a distinguished name for himself in the bass community. 

So far in his career he has worked with a multitude of record labels including Subcarbon Records, Bassclash Records, Dubstar Records, Get Heavy, MalLabel Records, Beatdown Bass and Damaged Sounds. He has shared the stage with Rusko, Zeds Dead, 12th Planet, Ganja White Night, The Widdler, Liquid Stranger, Eptic, Megalodon, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Dubloadz, Figure, Virtual Riot, Barely Alive, Must Die, AFK, Doctor P, Sullivan King, Truth, Al Ross, Hes$h, Boogie T, Dack Janiels and many more throughout his years of performing. 

With each new song he produces and each new audience he awes with his energetic performances, Lazy K has proven time and time again that he isn’t afraid to break through any barriers. As he continues to work on his legacy, Lazy K is determined to push the limits and vows to never hold back.

My biography is written on the walls and the posts of the people I have helped and the lives I have been able to touch. My only goal is to make sure that the people I work with become that much better then me in, productions, spinning and as overall individuals. We all have stories and stuff to feed our egos with, served to us by being in the industry for a minute. Does it matter where you played? How many fliers you have been on?  Who you opened for?  Who you headlined for?  In my experience it all doesn't matter. This industry is built and survives on, what you have done today and what you are going to do tomorrow.
 
To me, the business of music is about what you are able to contribute to the industry and what you are able to give back to the special people whose lives you have touched. Whether it was thru a special dj set or via a special track you have created, they are the ones that mean the most.  The supporters of your craft… Not you as a superstar.
 
Everyday this industry is evolving and going into new directions.  There are new producers and new dj’s all trying to compete and take each others paychecks and be the next star. I have found through my journey that all that matters is where you fit in and that every day you strive to make a difference. Every now and again I am lucky enough to be able to go out and rock a crowd. Every now and again I am blessed to write a track that makes a difference in someone’s life and everyday I am able to teach a student that’s coming up the correct morals and values that I was taught by old school cats that make a difference and have contributed to this music scene in every way.

Time Protocol aims to mix the talents of DJing, music production, storytelling, and visual mapping into a single cohesive experience. Interwoven into the multimedia entertainment experience is a deep science-fiction back story which promises to engage fans well beyond the scope of what popular music is today. Our first graphic novel is over half complete and will be releasing in 2023!
