Written from the perspective of an introverted person, it can be a terrifying experience to go into public and interact with people you don’t know—let alone share artistic creations, feelings, etc. Before walking into a crowded room of strangers, it can help to pull your friends aside and to say, “Okay—I’ll go—but you do the talking." SHORT BIO | Calling Omaha home, Names Without Numbers was originally formed by a group of longtime friends and musicians attempting to transition away from their pop-punk roots to a grittier, emotional style of rock. The band has shared midwestern stages with the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, As I Lay Dying, Copeland, Plain White T’s, and dozens of other acts. Blending guitar-driven, indie power-pop, the band is an easy fit for fans of Mae, Anberlin, Weezer, etc. Their 2020 project, Silos and Smokestacks, paired them with local standout producer Michael King, a relationship continuing on new music to dropped in 2022.
