On this version I share a part of my story to encourage the listener that while we all face rejection and suffer hurt there is true hope to be had in this life. Hailing from the hills of Virginia, Nothin' Fancy has received 6 Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music Awards (SPBGMA) for Entertainers of the Year—certainly a contributing factor to being inducted into the Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015. The quintet is well known for their smooth vocal blends, stirring performances, and irrepressible humor. Since 2001 they have hosted their own annual bluegrass festival located in Buena Vista, VA since 2001.
