The chords came about while improvising on my Hagstrom HJ800 guitar. The lyrics were inspired by watching watching a VPRO TV series of three Belgian travellers (Arnout Hauben, Philippe Niclaes, Ruben Callens ) walking around the North Sea.

“Left at the Station” carries the pulse of modern electronic pop, blending the crisp, synth-driven clarity of Hot Chip with the bittersweet momentum of New Order.
