Berlin based artist Sioc has many years of experience from the early rave and trance scene of the 90s, through numerous UK dance genres and different shades of techno. More than two decades of music influence has been instrumental in his love for all types of trance and techno, which is ever present in both his productions and dj sets today.
A part of the @speedmasterrecords family, @sioc28 is always hard at work to create a journey of sounds from progressive and deep-spacey vibes, huge early sounding synths and beautiful melodies to faster productions and harder off beat and psy bass lines.

Sioc's dreamphase mixtape is an expedition of trance, with tracks you might not know or have forgotten, arranged with some newer productions, nordic flavours and some of his own alongside @paul_copping.

We caught up with him to delve into his creative process, and here’s what he revealed:

“I made this mix as a tribute to one of my friends at Syntharax. The first time we met, it was a breath of fresh air. I used tracks that my friends have either made themselves or introduced me to—music that has surprised me or been outside my regular soundscape. I also wanted to show myself what I can create with tracks and genres that I enjoy but haven’t played as a DJ yet. To convince myself of what I’m capable of. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did while making it <3”
