PBR Streetgang with Donald Dust - 8th July 2019

Two of Scotland's dance music underdogs join forces for a flawlessly curated vinyl mix touching on WBMX style (Euro) Disco, 80's Chicago House, unearthed South African synth pop and more.

Since appearing on Bordello A Parigi's Disco Riviera Vol. 9, Donald Dust launched his own 7" with last year's "Mars R-Trax", released a 12" with London's Claptrap label and contributed a remix to PBR Streetgang's latest single.

Renowned digger The Nightlark's expansive collection of rare records is a sight to behold. A versatile and experienced DJ, he currently holds down a residency on Edinburgh's EH-FM, runs the Ascetic Practices night with Sofa Stergiou in the city and has been gaining a multitude of fans thanks to his recent output of clever edits.

True Fact: I listen to many questionable things at home, and 1/3rd of the world is largely trapped at home at the moment. This mix is a compilation of some of the guilty pleasures I might listen to while lying face down on the carpet, or while dancing around my apartment in sweatpants. 

Credibility is so pre-pandemic, and I'm too exhausted from trying to stay on top of COVID-19 as both a frontline and home-bound social worker at three different agencies, I really DGAF about having cachet anymore. Enjoy, and stay safe!
