' As a long time avid listener of melodic progressive house, one of the details that makes this genre stand out from the rest is the quality of the music and its ability to express feelings and bring people together without the need of lyrics or sung vocals. It's amazing what sheer talent and passion can bring out of a laptop and a producing program. One such example is that of Adrian & Radek, a Polish duo better known on the scene as North Sunset, who've been amongst my favourites from early on. I'm thrilled to be able to present their last ever track together, a work inspired by five years of making music , five years of sentiments put on music, five years of sunsets. Irish phenom Jay FM returns with "Follow Your Dreams," consisting of two atmospheric deep-progressive cuts. His previous release, "This Moment," showcased a distinct aptitude for downtempo-influenced deep house. On this follow-up release, Jay FM once again seeks to bring the listener into a state of pensive awareness, this time with subtle beats and echoing piano keys.

The memorable title cut begins by taking us deep within a forest-like ambiance. Minute atmospheric effects, such as the chirping of distant birds, punctuate the silence, just as the beat begins to slowly crescendo. Within moments, the once quiet woodland soundscape offers the soothing backdrop for an enchanting rhythm. The repeating refrain "follow your dreams" guides us along this journey, with elegant piano keys echoing in the shadows.

"Mirage" places the listener at a comfortable distance from life's lingering uncertainties; by retaining the atmospheric style of its release counterpart, the track offers something both familiar and novel: where before we were guided by the soothing melodic and vocal motifs of "Follow Your Dreams," "Mirage" offers a pensive moment to ponder the direction we're heading. Fading echoes of Jay FM's signature piano strokes invite further contemplation, as the song gradually reaches its conclusion.

Chinese talent Melchi continues to spearhead through the world of melodic progressive with his quality productions and we're excited to present his newest choon 'Follow the Sun', backed by two stunning remixes.
Borrowing from classic artists like Talamanca, the original is a pure sun-drenched melodic affair, imbued with memories of past summers that will perfectly evoke smiles and the freedom and joy associated with them.
First remix sees the return to Synth of Catalan superstar Lumidelic and as per usual, he delivers a jaw-dropping production of intricate synth lines backed by a myriad of sounds topped by a lovely melancholic piano melody. Maestro at his best.
Last but not least, it's with great pleasure we have Souma on our imprint, one of the breakthrough artists of the scene this year, whose laidback style will indelibly mark the listener as his remix is all centered on sound texture, making it a superb closer to an already stellar release.

American producer Joe Schaeffer returns to Soluna with musical poetry inspired by travels through Japan--the land of the rising red sun. The Glow in Your Eyes is a mini album, which takes listeners soaring over the glistening seas along the oriental crescent and beautiful meadows and pastures of Japan’s once feudal countrysides.  

The album opens with a floral landscape imagined in the context of soft, subtle Ise (Intro Mix), a soothing electronic chillout great for the opening sequence in progressive mixsets. The intro flows gracefully into the original mix, in which the melodic textures and atmospheric settings fluctuate with bouncy grooves. The Glow in Your Eyes continues the melodic journey over soft blissful waves and oriental inspired motifs. Izumo includes vocals integrated in the melodic tapestry. Delicate grooves and sentimental aesthetics authenticate the artist’s affinity to the natural beauty and graces of Japan.

Italian producer Lepo has chiseled many wonderful progressive tunes from melodic sound waves. We have been grateful for his music on our compilations and as remixes, but now we proudly present his first EP on our imprint. 

Sigiriya, once an ancient rock fortress located in Sri Lanka, is now listed as a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lepo pays tribute to the majestic “Lion Rock” with harmonious chords and soft plucks that seem to echo memories of the past. Minneriya is a small Sri Lankan town famous for a lake built by King Mahasen as well as a national park that is a refuge for elephants. Once again, Lepo draws inspiration from natural aesthetics to create audible beauty.

The crimson orange glow of “Euphoria” matures into a solar flare as layered arps are progressively interwoven into the balearic canvas. “Levante” revs up the mood with a jolt in tempo that promises audible gratification. Melodic motifs, hypnotic conjuring, and progressive basslines make “Levante” a true successor to “Sunstreaker.”

We are delighted here at Shores, to welcome back UK/China-based Cairn with another typically stunning track.

This veteran artist has created a wonderful follow-on from September’s “Fauna” in the form of this lush melody-laden beauty. Lovely chords dance between subtle vocal shots and spine-tingling piano to produce a delightful treat to welcome in the new year. Joining Cairn on this release is our very own Skua, who has delivered a remarkable remix with the addition of some classic synth sounds and additional vocal work, creating a retro-inspired vibe which juxtaposes beautifully with the dreamy original.
