With the amazing release from Artemil called “Time” fresh in mind, we now see him return to us with his next original, this one baptized as “Rays Of Light” that is another seductive progressive original built on great melodic arrangements and hooks. It has a lovely warm feel, filled with a great blend of warm and energetic textures that we do feel you will fall for. 

You will also be face with a superb line-up on remixes, as we see the massive talent from Slovakia, Sollito team up with us again with his beautiful interpretation of this fine original. It is as dreamy and driving as always from this stunning artist. With added on grooves and melodies, he once more makes us a jaw dropping re-take that will leave no one without anything less than a smile on their face, super stuff!

Another favorite, the Norwegian phenomenon Eleve takes his spot on this release with a follow up to his latest original on the label, that one called “Children Of Venus”. Now he delivers another sensational production again with this remix of “Rays Of Light”. With lovely tweaks and effects, driving melodic hooks and overall great textures, he proves what a superb producer he is. We love each and every moment he want to be a part of our label through his creativity, a great producer and person. 

The 3rd rework on the release comes from the Russian project, longtime progressive act Atlantis Ocean who once more teams up with us. They bring a great diversity to the release with their more progressive breaks influenced production where they deliver what is to be another fine and well crafted production. With warm elements, and a more laidback feel, they prove what a great act they are.

Artemil - Rays Of Light (Original Mix)

A label owner of Otographic Music, Kenji Sekiguchi has been introducing quality sounds of Japanese artists to the scene as a DJ and an A&R for about a decade. In early years he has also produced his own tracks, but paused it for a long time. Now he is back as an artist with this single "Into The Dawn".

Original Mix is a progressive house with haunting melodies and atmospheric synth textures. On the other hand, Club Mix is a trancy rebuild of the original version composed of driving basslines and multi-layered plucks.

Carefully selected to represent the sound of Silk Royal Showcase radio, the songs included in the compilation range from the more pensive and melancholic shades of progressive to the more club-oriented, peak-hour material we tend to play at the end of our radio show mixes and live sets. Many of the artists are seasoned veterans of the SRS compilation series; there are also numerous first-time contributors to this year's compilation, many of whom have asserted themselves as leading talents in trance & progressive in just the past year. Sound Quelle has risen to the highest ranks of our label roster this year, courtesy of an array of magnificent electronic music releases, ranging in genre from deep house to trance. Featured initially on our "Arrival 02: Destination Indonesia" compilation, "Toscana" is an electrifying anthem by Sound Quelle, in collaboration with Max Meyer. We're thrilled to finally present this track in its full (DJ-friendly) form, alongside two brand new remixes by the wonderful Miroslav Vrlik and Aleksey Sladkov.

The Original Mix kicks off with an aggressive rhythm and rapturous chord sequence. As the energy crescendoes, the layered chords are joined by lush side melodies and ethereal pads. The emotion truly reaches its zenith in the breakdown and subsequent drop, where celestial vocal stabs punctuate an earth-shattering groove.

Miroslav Vrlik, who recently contributed to our "Silk Royal Showcase 05" compilation with the breathtaking "Rhythm Of The Guitar", offers an equally euphoric and exhilarating interpretation. His mix centers on an 1/8 note chord sequence, as well as a variety of atmospheric flourishes, which infuse the mix with a cinematic feel. In the break, an unforgettable new melody is introduced, which continues throughout the drop.

Finally, first-time Silk contributor Aleksey Sladkov makes a tremendous opening statement with his inspired interpretation. Gorgeous midrange "texture" is created through numerous lead layers, coupled with symphonic strings. With thrilling anticipation, we are finally treated to an extraordinarily beautiful climactic theme, which radiates pure joy directly into the listener's soul. Given his obvious talent for peak-hour anthems with intelligence and heart, Sladkov is definitely an artist to watch going forward.

Earlier this year, two powerhouse global talents, LTN and Ad Brown, teamed up with rising vocal sensation Cat Martin on "Miss You", a poignant progressive masterpiece. We are honored to feature their work again, courtesy of two brand new interpretations. Specifically, on remix detail, we've recruited our wonderful Silk Music Showcase resident host and recent "Urban Monks" (artist album) composer Jayeson Andel, as well as the exceedingly gifted Russian talent (and fellow veteran contributor) Piramex.

First up, Jayeson serves up a ferocious, genre-bending take on "Miss You". Centering on a roaring bassline, the first half of his remix deliberately features a minimalistic midrange, which allows Cat Martin's performance to shine. The original song's central motif, a hypnotic vocal stab sequence, is then suddenly buttressed by a muscular new groove, as well as a variety of glitchy and hallucinogenic synth lines. Jayeson's superlative vocal production is on full display in the main break; Cat Martin's plaintive vocal is seemingly backed by a full orchestra. The drop to follow is thunderous and truly mesmerizing.

Piramex's smooth and progressive-flavored remix rounds out the release. A relatively gentler rhythm section and heavily filtered midrange have the effect of imbuing Cat's opening verse with a profound fragility. A discriminating ear will also catch a variety of new melodic variations, including a brand new lead theme in the breakdown. The patient arrangement in the song's opening minutes eventually evolves into a jubilant, peak-hour sound, effectively flipping the script on the aching lyrics and romantic longing in Cat Martin's beautiful vocal.

Irish man of good vibes Keith Harris might not be as prolific as his prog beginnings but does hold a special place in our hearts, as does his last year's comeback release 'Bonzai/Make you mine'.
We now get to revisit those sunny soundscapes brought by the Cork native, as this package comes full to the brim with star-studded remixes from producers like Lumidelic and Alex H, who deliver outright sun-drenched masterpieces of Bonzai and Make you mine, respectively.
Rounding off this stellar EP are Canada's own Vincent Zauhar with his rollercoaster rendition and Swedish bad boy Vygg with a thumping prog trance stylish remake.

American producer Joe Schaeffer returns to Soluna with musical poetry inspired by travels through Japan--the land of the rising red sun. The Glow in Your Eyes is a mini album, which takes listeners soaring over the glistening seas along the oriental crescent and beautiful meadows and pastures of Japan’s once feudal countrysides.  

The album opens with a floral landscape imagined in the context of soft, subtle Ise (Intro Mix), a soothing electronic chillout great for the opening sequence in progressive mixsets. The intro flows gracefully into the original mix, in which the melodic textures and atmospheric settings fluctuate with bouncy grooves. The Glow in Your Eyes continues the melodic journey over soft blissful waves and oriental inspired motifs. Izumo includes vocals integrated in the melodic tapestry. Delicate grooves and sentimental aesthetics authenticate the artist’s affinity to the natural beauty and graces of Japan.

Italian producer Lepo has chiseled many wonderful progressive tunes from melodic sound waves. We have been grateful for his music on our compilations and as remixes, but now we proudly present his first EP on our imprint. 

Sigiriya, once an ancient rock fortress located in Sri Lanka, is now listed as a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lepo pays tribute to the majestic “Lion Rock” with harmonious chords and soft plucks that seem to echo memories of the past. Minneriya is a small Sri Lankan town famous for a lake built by King Mahasen as well as a national park that is a refuge for elephants. Once again, Lepo draws inspiration from natural aesthetics to create audible beauty.

We are delighted to welcome back Greek producer, Fiben, as he unleashes “Sunstreaker,” his debut release on our imprint. His music has been well-received by our fans already with two recent remixes. Now experience with us this incredible along the sun-soaked path to enlightenment.

Fiben’s original mix begins with an assertive, elongated intro, a golden streak of fire along the balearic coastline. The breakdown ingratiates listeners with a synthwave-like side chain and catapults into a nice rhythmic drop. The second phase of the drop section is embellished by a soothing vocal chant and melodic pluck. Cosmaks, whose recent Soluna release was our first chillout headliner, returns with a hypnotically progressive rendition highlighted by his signature melodic motifs. Mark Digital’s remix is more of a progressive solar flare that leaves behind a streak of auroral light as it launches forth onto the dance floor. Tristan Armes, once again, brings eloquent harmony between both the melodic and progressive natures that lead listeners into a state of euphoric omnipotence.

After a while away from the label, we proudly present a producer that has been one of our longest servers on the label as India bound Dextrose makes his way back “home” again and takes charge of the label this week as our headliner. Through this fantastic production “Horizon”, he makes all the right echoes again on the scene. It’s a dope production, packed with fantastic energy, rolling basslines and some serene melodic wonders that makes us go bonkers. We are as thrilled as ever to have him back, he’s been missed out by us. 

On remix duty we see a couple of returning artists that have been with us for a long time starting with US bound progressive artist Will Canas. This time, he puts a more house / deep house touch to his rework and we do feel it goes along really well with the original idea from Dextrose. It’s a bit more stripped down but packed with great energy and quirky melodic work to give the track a different taste. 

From Slovakia we see the return from the always creative duo behind Mark & Lukas. These guys have been with us for many years and we are always proud and happy to see them make their way back. This time they are delivering a superb remix of “Horizon” and as always they go creative with a superb selection of sounds. They are surely a duo known for details, warm moods and fantastic atmosphere in their production and they have absolutely nailed it once more through this one.
