It's been 3 years since an idea became reality. It's been 3 years since our first release came out, 3 years of magic productions, 3 years of working with the most talented producers in the scene and 3 years of pushing forward the beauty of melodic progressive house.
We hope you're enjoying the ride and we thank you for being by our side as we watch together our label grow.
Today it's 3 years of Synth Collective, celebration is on us!

3 Years Synth Collective

Here is a collection of some abandoned concepts from 2012. Some of it was the precursor to finished work, whereas some was an alternate version that went too far is some direction - usually for the worse. There's a lot less here compared to 2011, perhaps because I was finishing and releasing music by this point. Here's what's here:

1) funkyprogressive8: Would have loved for this to have a more disco feel.
2) slowdown4: This was the precursor to my Biologik remix (Sarin). Forgive the distortion in the mids. It sounds pretty similar to the final product but I thought was different enough to warrant including here. 
3) img9: Strings and progressive house, why not? First time with this new reverb patch on Guitar Rig 4. Really big wide reverb here. Maybe too big.
4) img15: A continuation of img9, but a little different. Very happy. 
5) maybeatremix1: Believe it or not, this is the beginning to my Warmest Day remix. Somehow! 
6) maybeatremix5: A continuation of the above. I want to use this bassline and synth arp line sometime. 
7) intri12: These vocal chops and guitar chops went on to be a part of my Time Is By Your Side remix. 
8) hmmm1: Same vocal chops as above, but with an 1/8th note synth melody. Oh, and same percussion as maybeatremix. This percussion actually went into Come Home.
9) hmmm2: Same as above but a different synth line.
10) hmmm2_2: Same project as above, different synth line, and vocals from my collab with Justin Oh. 
11) An earlier version of my Why Do We Try remix.
12) funkyprogressive1: An earlier version of the first track on this abandoned concepts track. 
13) newnnew1: I'm discovering Reaktor at this point. 
14) test2: Seems similar to newnnew1. I think this went on to become the final version of my Why Do We Try remix. 
15) Electrotest: Yup.
16) Sustainpedal: I didn't have a sustain pedal for a while because mine broke. I had finally gotten a new one and wanted to play with it.

Austrian label veteran Axel Gallit returns to the main PHW imprint once again as he this time teams up with China based upcoming progressive producer Melchi. As always with these producer you are to witness a super solid progressive journey with an outstanding melodic progression being brought on. This has a truly uplifting feel and is as catchy as it gets, so ready to take charge of the summer coming up in the northern hemisphere.

We are also thrilled and excited to see the return of Argentina based producer and long time buddy Musty who we finally see back on the label after a longer spell away. With his great talent of building melodic progression with a driving and energetic style, he surely is back on track with his rocking interpretation of “We Are Free”. We are so happy to see him back on the scene once again through the PHW imprint. 

We are also blessed to see a return from the in fame rising alias of Sunset Moments that been hardworking on his music for a longer spell now and he is delivering in full flare once again, bring the summer-ish progressive vibe back just in time for the summer.

This week we see another awaited return, as Chinese talent Melchi proves once again he's not a fluke, offering up two new cuts that are ready to pleasantly surprise and be enjoyed.
Having passed the newcomer stage and built a solid fanbase already, 'Heat wave' and 'Kung Fu tea' will only etch his name further onto the meloprog scene.
Delving deeper into sound techniques, the two brand new choons showcase Melchi's knack for intricate melodies, complex rhythm patterns and poignant leads.

Vienna-based Axxound has been delivering unique productions since what seems like forever, putting his stamp on tracks and remixes that have, first and foremost, that feel-good vibe.
Today's release is no stranger as on 'Fairy Lights', a true summer anthem, he unleashes his 'axxchops' on top of a mesmerizing, uplifting and melodically interwoven piece that will get one smiling from start to finish. A blockbuster of a choon!

Irish man of good vibes Keith Harris might not be as prolific as his prog beginnings but does hold a special place in our hearts, as does his last year's comeback release 'Bonzai/Make you mine'.
We now get to revisit those sunny soundscapes brought by the Cork native, as this package comes full to the brim with star-studded remixes from producers like Lumidelic and Alex H, who deliver outright sun-drenched masterpieces of Bonzai and Make you mine, respectively.
Rounding off this stellar EP are Canada's own Vincent Zauhar with his rollercoaster rendition and Swedish bad boy Vygg with a thumping prog trance stylish remake.
