After about a year together with us, we see US bound producer Mark Digital as a close member of our PHW division were he has built up his reputation as a producer making great grooves including a great blend of melodic harmonies. With that said we of course welcome him back with open arms as he delivers another original though the label, this one named as “Soluente”. With his pumping vibe, throbbing kick drums he surely strikes with another massive production that he spice up with flying melodies and super tight vocal additions. He surely is a name that is to stay on the scene, working hard on building his Mark Digital moniker, he will win another line of listeners through “Soluente”, that we are sure of.

To flavour the release a little extra, we see two stompin’ remixes from respected progressive artists Dextrose and Dan Norvan, two producers that you been able to hear through the label in the past. 

First out is a long time server on PHW, as India based producer Dextrose takes on another remix on the label. Being featured on the label more than double figures over the years, he showcase another stylistic progressive rework that oozes class and style as always. We are always on our toes when we hear new musical ideas from this forward thinking producer and we can’t say less than that he strikes in full force once again with his ever surprising productions.

Mexicos very own Dan Norvan returns as well with another remix. Hammering out quality progressive and trance  music in the past, he once more proves what he is made of and that he is a producer that you will hear a lot more from in the future as well. This is a superb production that delivers a full in bloom trance styled vision of the ideas from Mark Digital that is beyond our expectations. With a heavy old school feel, he blends perfectly with new ideas how this track could be developed into something rare and special and he is taking it to perfect heights, super stuff is right in front of you and we don’t think you should miss out.

House of Pain is an American hip hop group who released three albums in the 1990s before lead rapper Everlast left to pursue his solo career again. The group's name is a reference to the H.G. Wells novel The Island of Dr. Moreau, a reference carried further by the naming of their 2011 tour "He Who Breaks the Law". The group is best known for its 1992 hit single "Jump Around", which reached number 3 in the United States, number 6 in Ireland and number 8 in the United Kingdom. The group broke up in 1996 but reformed in 2010 as House of Pain, after the trio had been members of supergroup La Coka Nostra for several years.

Longstanding Italian label Deeperfect welcome Pinto to the fold for a pair of smooth new house tunes entitled Apple Jax EP, while a Reyam remix closes the package. Pinto is one of the top artists within the Mexican scene. He has held a residency at Bar Americas for more than a decade, runs his own Localalafiesta night and is part of Hectors Vatos Locos crew. From percussive house and tightly programmed techno, this Neim Records boss can do it all, but here he goes deep. Apple Jax is well informed by classic house: effortless hi hats glide over warm, cavernous kick drums as subtle and speed out pads drift off in the distance. Its a timeless groove for cultured dance floors. Germanys Reyam is on the remix and ups the ante with a more propulsive take on the original, but one that is still soft-edged, far-sighted and perfectly inviting. The second superb original is Boutique Freaks, a breezy seven-minute-deep house excursion with a lush lead synth that is cosmic and shapeshifting. The drums are again from a golden period in house musics heyday and barely-there vocal coos add more soul to a track that exudes plenty of it.

American producer Joe Schaeffer returns to Soluna with musical poetry inspired by travels through Japan--the land of the rising red sun. The Glow in Your Eyes is a mini album, which takes listeners soaring over the glistening seas along the oriental crescent and beautiful meadows and pastures of Japan’s once feudal countrysides.

Italian producer Lepo has chiseled many wonderful progressive tunes from melodic sound waves. We have been grateful for his music on our compilations and as remixes, but now we proudly present his first EP on our imprint. 

Sigiriya, once an ancient rock fortress located in Sri Lanka, is now listed as a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lepo pays tribute to the majestic “Lion Rock” with harmonious chords and soft plucks that seem to echo memories of the past. Minneriya is a small Sri Lankan town famous for a lake built by King Mahasen as well as a national park that is a refuge for elephants. Once again, Lepo draws inspiration from natural aesthetics to create audible beauty.

Distinguished producer, Fiben, graciously returns to our imprint. This time the Greek producer brings with him some euphoric delight in the form of a progressively exquisite EP. Catch some light off the rays of the balearic sun with this pair of solar gems. 

Renowned for his assertive, elongated intros, Fiben builds progressive tension along deep bassline fissures and atmospheric pads. The crimson orange glow of “Euphoria” matures into a solar flare as layered arps are progressively interwoven into the balearic canvas. “Levante” revs up the mood with a jolt in tempo that promises audible gratification. Melodic motifs, hypnotic conjuring, and progressive basslines make “Levante” a true successor to “Sunstreaker.”

We are delighted here at Shores, to welcome back UK/China-based Cairn with another typically stunning track.

This veteran artist has created a wonderful follow-on from September’s “Fauna” in the form of this lush melody-laden beauty. Lovely chords dance between subtle vocal shots and spine-tingling piano to produce a delightful treat to welcome in the new year. Joining Cairn on this release is our very own Skua, who has delivered a remarkable remix with the addition of some classic synth sounds and additional vocal work, creating a retro-inspired vibe which juxtaposes beautifully with the dreamy original.
 
Returning with a fine melodic vintage here on Shores, this is Cairn (with Skua) and his amazing new track “Flora”.
