Arno Gonzalez is producing a modern house sound that sometimes ventures into melodic territory close to Electronica, the Angevin artist was first spotted by the Parisian label Missive, then by Timid Records, on which he released his debut album “Encounters”, as well as a number of EPs and remixes...

Today, he is one of the spearheads and leaders of Brique Rouge, David Duriez's label, with whom he is on a mission to perpetuate and reinvent a certain vision of House and Techno music.

With this second album, which marks “the end of innocence”, Arno explodes the codes of his music to better transcend them. We find his inimitable touch, a particular sound that is sometimes minimal, sometimes warm and melodious, a real signature on 13 tracks that tell a real story.

If this is the end of innocence, it's also the beginning of maturity.




Brique Rouge label is a pillar of the French House underground since 1999.

The label continues to disseminate the electronic sound David Duriez believes in, far from formatting and excessive vulgarity. An eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and on vibe above all.  In general, the team's artists benefit from a carte blanche, and it's above all the state of mind that counts. The label isn't looking for success, it's a success. The success of being able to release music without compromise. With one release a week on platforms since 2020, the label (and its divisions RZ Muzik & Obliqu3) is seen as a key player on the French underground electronic scene, given the activism it demonstrates.

Faithful to the spirit of this music's beginnings - Acid House, Chicago and New York House, or the power of Belgian or Detroit Techno - the label has been churning out releases for 25 years without ever sinking into cynicism, nostalgia or parody. Brique Rouge has established itself as a key French label for the distribution of emerging and creative artists (known and unknown) who draw their inspiration from the roots of the genre, but also pursue the search for new vibes. Without commercial imperatives, the label innovates and denies itself nothing. No formatting, no time sacrificed on the altar of the platforms of streaming, with Brique Rouge it's not the face of the human behind the machine that is highlighted, but its music.

We couldn't agree more, as they have churned another powerful production, one for the books.Prog wonder Musty, a scene favourite, is up next and his remix is warm as expected and putting an emphasis on the piano in the original's breakdown. Fire! Going the groovier path, Kamron Schrader delivers another knockout rendition, his remix having poise whilst being the most danceable but still true to sunset listening vibes. We welcome another new and exciting talent to surface out of the Turkey, Yasin Guven with his second track on the progressive label 'Morning Flight'. This stunning little number brings in release 414 on Alter Ego Progressive. On remix duties we have label favourite Ryan K.

The original mix kicks things off with its deep and warm atmospherics, beach ware melodic elements, playful percussion and bass work. Dropping in to a stunning piano led breakdown, this really does put you on a beach somewhere and will leave you wanting to hit repeat over and over again.

On remix duties we have Ryan K who is no stranger to Alter Ego. Ryan gives 'Morning Flight' his signature full on no nonsense melodic trance treatment really completing the package.
