In 2020, the melodic progressive world was taken by storm by Japan's own, Yusuke Teranishi. His debut album, Over the World's clouds, having followed a streak of buzz-generating EP's and singles, was a successful and eye-opening release that further ventured this talented artist into the top yearly producers. Fast forward a year later and we're ecstatic to unveil a project the whole progressive community should be proud of, the remixed album of the aforementioned release. Bringing together no less than 18 remixers for stunning renditions, spanning from pure melodic progressive gems, to deeper organic house cuts and inventive melo ambient pieces, this is a joy to listen to from start to end. It’s time for a new addition on PHW, as we are delighted to bring on another producer to the PHW family. Hailing from Poland, we see the in fame fast rising producer Raphael Mayers take his first steps on our imprint, with a sunny and warm progressive production called “When I Meet Her”. 

With a “feel good” summer-ish progressive production he takes his spot as this week artist on original duty, and we are truly pleased with this one, as it definitely is a laid back track, just right for the season here in Europe. We hope you will enjoy this one, and be ready for more from him in a not to long spell on the label. 

On remix duty, we see 2 of our most frequent artists on our roster taking their spot again with the genius of Bee Hunter taking charge of the first one. Tomek has been with us for a long spell and continue to use his creativity through his music. here he keep the melodic vibe in the track, and builds new textures and chord progressions around it to make this a top notch re-take of this summer tune. Bee Hunter on top just as expected.

The 2nd rework comes from US bound melody maker Desaicrator who makes a welcome return to his home label. He delivers a more upbeat production, filled with a very nice drive and energy that we do feel will strike very well. It’s always a pleasure having Ankit on the label, he is always in a friendly mood, just as the rest of the guys on this release.

We have another spiffing release right here on Perplexity Music, the goods being delivered to you by US based producer Orsa, who graced us with a phenomenal free download earlier on the year. 'It's Always Been You' is a superb EP that does nothing but raise the bar of perfection which this talent to watch out for has accomplished so continue on & take in the journey you’re about to go on! 

To start off, we have the original title track 'It's Always Been You', an enigmatic wonder to start off with as the direction it takes is one that exceeds all expectations with the layers of beauty that glows out from the jump. Being pulled in by the warm & sensual chords, you become weak at how incredible & beautiful something could sound, something could exist. Even the most locked up minds can be set free with each passing second of this production, like therapy for the wounded mind. The hope that it isn't the end, that hearts would be reunited after the sublime breakdown sparks up the flames as the heaviness of the melody really sinks in. Pure brilliance, words of the broken hearted could not be conveyed better than in this masterpiece, fuelled by all that makes us human, makes us remain that way till we're reunited with the one we thought was gone. But hope, it doesn't always breed eternal misery, just sometimes, it breeds positive; as this heart wrenching piece that speaks to us in the words of music shows.

Once again, Orsa delivers his utmost best & provides us with a yearning for those incredible sounds of pure radiating melody drizzled productions that are further enhanced by the outstanding contributions from the remixers. There really is nothing more raw & untouchable than the feeling of love & loss & to be able to dictate that in ways that music can portray the story in is a feat itself. Whatever the situation is, wherever you may be & whatever the outcome, things happen for a reason, despite our preference but as long as inspiration, emotion & love exists, there will always be something to comfort us & this EP, is one of many things that can be our safety net. Van Yorge managed to create a amazing emotional, but still melodic piece of art with a combination of Balearic guitars and Piano. Introducing the track with smooth chords and synth melody, nice vocal hook it builds up towards a real anthem wich gives you shivers.
