As a long time runner on PHW, we are delighted to see the Vienna based producer Axel Gallit return this week through his Axxound moniker, a familiar name to all of you listening to the sound of the label. 

With this 3 track EP, taking inspiration from his recent travelling across Australia takes you to different corners of progressive. These productions are titled as “Ocean Road”, “Whitsundays” and “Cassowary”, all of them big marks for Australia. They are all nicely packed up with a feel good melodic vibe, tasty tweaks and soundscapes that is to send you places. All in their own way and style. He is definitely a producer we always held high and someone that we will continue to give support through the label. 

Sit back, relax and let Axel take you on a journey. Why not dream away to the big land down under with long beaches stretching across the coastlines and superb sunrise and sunsets. Do you see the pictures already?

We are on the brick to welcome Lokovski & David Folkebrant to our PHW division as these guys deliver “No Pressure” on the label this week. With a vibrant and uplifting feel, “No Pressure” is to hit you with that summer-ish vibe that we so often seek for. We feel truly happy to see the guys join us on the label. 

To flavour a bit more and give the release a different approach and more to select from, we also see two different remixes being in this package. First of is the return of Leicester bound UK producer, Ashraf Soobiah that works his music through his well known alias of Zuubi. He’s been a major player with us over the years and we are always thrilled and excited to see him take time to join back with the PHW imprint. 

With his creativity and own style of progressive, he surely is to strike again with this rework of the original ideas. It’s a slightly more laid back feel to the track here and it’s with delight that we put this one on to give us the summer feelings. It’s another superb production from this rare talent that we take with on the release with open arms of course. 

We also see a new face taking his first steps on the label as US bound producer Lensa makes his debut through our PHW division. It’s a true joy listening to this one, giving us a real breath of fresh air as this is a number that definitely etches to us. With a warm mood, tight melodic lines and everything in between, he surely strikes with full power and we are truly delighted to sim taking a spot on our roster!

It's been an incredible journey, one that wouldn't had been possible without the passion, dedication and talent of a myriad of artists and without the constant support of the ever growing melodic progressive scene, that we're proudly being part of. For this extraordinary milestone, we have the debut album of an artist that has captured the audience with his vividly imaginative productions, none other than Japan's own, Yusuke Teranishi.
Dedicated to the vastness and grandness of space, with 'Over the World's Clouds', Yusuke has crafted a mesmerising sonic adventure from start to finish, from his personal take of a space prog opera with the title track and 'Cosmonaut', to the romantic progressive ballad 'When she smiles', to the dusk-themed '2am' and the ever sundrenched 'Coral reef' and the retro-tinged 'Feels alright'. Featuring names like Nils Karr, Cosmaks, Yasin Guven, Jan Martin, Inxisiv and Sogabe for visionary collabs, the album is an embodiment of pure emotion, power and musical meditation.
Fans of deeply emotive music will have much to enjoy as Yusuke's talent will capture their interest with a wide array of styles, from melodic progressive pieces to ambient and chill and even synthwave.
