Inspired by and a celebration of Nova Scotia, the small coastal province in Eastern Canada that he calls home, '44° North, 63° West' sees Dezza aka Derek Silvester at his musical best. Featuring singles 'Settle', 'Getaway' and 'Carry Me', this sophomore effort is a glorious collection of progressive house productions that puts Dezza at the forefront of the genre, cementing his name as one of its most important creators.

He builds here on the success of his debut artist album 'Cosmos', released in 2019 which featured standout tracks 'Cold Outside', 'Honey' and 'Expanse', and saw him tour the world from Australia to the Netherlands to the U.S. In sharp contrast, 2020, like it was for so many, was spent largely in isolation by Dezza, who turned to the beauty and nature of his surroundings in the Nova Scotia wilderness for inspiration and comfort. The result was nineteen tracks that look outward, with Dezza finding joy in his unique environment; this is reflected in the album's tracks that are tied together by a common theme of optimism and bliss through upbeat chord progressions, driving percussion and airy, floating synths. 

He recruits a host of impressive collaborators to breathe further life into his productions, including vocalists from around the world like Lauren L'aimant, EMME, Dan Soleil, HEBE, Lewyn, Møøne and Mike Schmid, who bring their own perspectives and stories to '44° North, 63° West' with their first-rate performances.

We are as thrilled as ever to see the return of progressive melody man, Gregory Esayan on the label, as he teams up with the superb vocalist from Italy, Richard J Aarden and together they have created the lovely act called “Hurricanes”. When we got the chance to work with these two great producers, we of course had to give it a go, as we over the years been big fans of their respective music. 


“Hurricanes” as this track is baptized is a warm and welcoming progressive production, filled with warm progressions, smooth melodic layers and that dope vocals from Richard. He has both smoothness and power with his voice, and we do love what he’s been doing here.

On remix duty, we see 2 great friends of the label join back together with us and first out is the services from one that we always highly respected, not only for his music, but the person behind the Zuubi alias as well. Ashraf has always taken on a challenge for remixes together with us, as well as putting out great originals and EP’s with us at PHW, and we are of course delighted to see him join back for another re-take, this time on this beauty from Gregory & Richard. He is definitely giving it some more edge and drive, as he is reworking the vocals and putting on the trademark “Zuubi-vibe”, including new melodic layers and some majestic sawsounds. This one comes with a “Dub Mix” as well, or those who want to go for that.

Next up is another welcome return, as we see another add from one high profile producer on the label, Samee who makes another stopover at PHW to take part once again. With a stripped down, more relaxed but yet melodic and driving, we see Samee deliver another ace production together with us, and we are super excited about it of course. You will just as with the Zuubi Remix get 2 different versions of the Samee productions, as there is a shorter “Radio Edit” on it as well.

It is time to open up a new year on PHW as we see our first release of the year prepared for you all and we do it what we feel the best possible way. For our opener 2018 we see the return of Dutch producer Morrison Kiers on the label, this time through a collaboration with Slovakian progressive duo Mark & Lukas. He also contribute to the release with single worked original to make it a 2 track EP full of sparkling melodies and warm elements. 

First out is the collaboration, named as “Sand Castle” and here we hear a rich plethora of melodic arrangements, packed together with warm harmonies, spellbound layers of atmosphere that definitely is to take you away if the melodic and uplifting approach of progressive music is your thing. Superb stuff from all of them to open up the year. 

To second, we are delighted to pull through the little gem named as “Vega” as well, to in a sort complete the package. This one, worked by Morrison Kiers all alone, see him deliver in full flare once again. With a laid back feel, full of melodic layers, warm layers of stabs to deliver a thick feel on the track makes this another fine progressive production from him, just as we want it.

Esteemed label veteran Z8phyR, who has earned praise and respect for his musical talents in progressive house, presents “Breath of a New Dawn,” his highly anticipated debut artist album. His ethereal compositions that embrace the heart and soul of the Mediterranean epitomize the natural beauty and mystique of the Balearic Islands. Z8phyR’s sun-infused melodies, which have been featured on acclaimed international radio shows, such as on “Magic Island Radio,” continue to flourish in the hearts of his fans. 

“Breath of a New Dawn” is Z8phyR’s narrative that symbolically represents personal new beginnings, whilst metaphorically spinning a tale of a beach goer’s first-time experience on a magical Balearic isle. Enter a Chicane-styled soundscape in which pensive grooves and ubiquitous melodies flutter beneath the sun’s radiant glow. 

“Auroral Skies,” “Beach Lounger,” and “Dancing Tides” open up the album with sunrise and dreamy soundscapes that evoke the therapeutic nature and beauty of the Balearic Islands. As we progress forth on this aural narration, the tempo accelerates with the churning of afternoon tides in “Florescence” and “Suns8tional,” two tracks emphasizing jubilant emotions. “Wind’s Caress” is that welcome breeze on our face as we “Seas the Day.” Carpe diem! “Imprints on the Sand” are those memories we cherish. Embrace your zen with “Komorebi,” while “Leaving You Behind” moves us away from unwanted distractions. “Wayfarer’s Diary” is purely melodic and summarizes one’s travel experiences. “Waverider” and “Time Again” close out the album on a pleasantly vibrant note.

Fall into an introspective season filled with pensive moods, reflective thoughts, and nonchalant reverie with our second remixed album. We are delighted to present seven fabulous remixed tracks by an all-star ensemble, which includes label veterans, returnees and introduces Anlaya Project and Skyline Drive to our imprint.

Greek producer, Fiben, is making a name for himself in the melodic progressive scene with his sensual grooves, aperitive chords, breakbeats, and overall affinity with melodic motifs. “Lime Island” balances percussive and melodic elements that leave listeners in a hypnotic dream.

The sun-a-thon continues with progressive sensation Druce’s reimagining of Z8phyR’s “Cithara”. Be whisked away into the sun-drenched skies, in which retrovibes and ethereal arpeggiated chords melt into the Miami sunset.

Cast the line, bait, and hook. To be drawn into the melodic mysticism of Mark & Lukas’ sensational remix of James Kerwin’s "Burgeoning" is intrinsically inevitable. Deep currents of arpeggiated chords, atmospheric arps, and melodic textures emphasize the duo’s attention to melodic detail.

As if Skyline Project’s original “Espalmador” wasn’t enough, Skua rejuvenates the kindred spirit with a euphoric audible incantation of his own. Relaxing tonation, a bongo-like percussive breakdown, and strong melodic motifs forge a beach-centric therapeutic delight.

Ciree reinvents MLDJ’s “Forgotten Photo” with ebullient chord progressions and enthusiastic basslines that take the listener through a spiraling conviviality of good-natured feelings and balearic emotions. Any one familiar with Pedro & Benno will definitely appreciate this track.

Anlaya Project debuts with a pulsating retelling of Melchi’s “Gada Meilin”. Resonating basslines, and uplifting chord and piano progressions characterize the story of the epic Mongolian hero in the Asian desert landscape against a setting sun

Skyline Drive debuts with a soothing rendition of Robert Dalshetch’s “Por La Orilla”. Balearic arps, atmospheric pads, and a relaxing overtone close out this remixed edition with reflective tranquility.

Omar Romero returns to our Progressive House Worldwide label through his beloved Emro moniker. He’s surely a producer that is on the rise, gaining more and more recognition on the scene through his high quality progressive music. We always held him high and been fans of his melodic and powerful melodic progressive music. He’s been with us in the past through remix duty, but this time around he delivers his first EP including 2 different originals, oming as an original and as an extended to be more DJ friendly.

The opener and also the title track, baptized as “Down This Road” is a wonderful melody driven progressive contribution to the scene. It includes all the right elements, juicy melodic work and those moving textures to build a fantastic track to send you off.  

The second track for this EP, named as “Takes Me Back” is another high quality progressive production packed with great chord progression, atmospheric layers that surely is to warm a lot of hearts, loving the genre we always try to push. 

It’s quality all the way and it’s an honour to see Emro contribute with us and make his steps on the scene, he is by far not finished, that we know!
