The closing track of the first part of Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State Of Trance 2021’ mix album, ‘Sunrise’ sees Egyptian Trance icons Aly & Fila briefly step away from their highly uplifting signature sound in favor of a more progressive direction. With the beautifully bittersweet vocals of JES complementing its calm demeanor, this track perfectly soundtracks a precious early-morning moment spent gazing at the horizon.

国内外の人気レーベルから楽曲をリリースし続け、プログレッシヴ系のアーティストとしてその制作物がクラブシーンからサブカルチャーに至るまで高い評価を得ているKaNaの新EPがリリース。

溶けていく雪のように繊細で切ないメロディーをレーベルカラーとしているKaNa主催のSnow Frequesからリリースされる最新作"Snow Freques Episode 05"は彼女のオリジナルを含む4作、8 tracksを収録。

"Wildlife"は幻想的でどこかメルヘンな雰囲気にさせてくれるメロディーと躍動感のあるグルーヴが織りなす100%フロア向けなプログレッシヴトランス。

物語のエピローグのように終幕へと向かうエモーショナルな"Memento"は一日の終わりやパーティーの終盤に聴きたいエンディング向けの1曲。

また5タイトル目を記念した本作には彼女自身も所属している人気レーベルOtographic Musicのアーティスト達による"Photon"のRemixesが収録。

レーベルボスKenji SekiguchiによるRemixは原曲の良さを活かしながら、Melodic 〜 Progressiveとどちらにもフィットした情緒あるサウンドスケープが魅力。近年盛り上がりを見せるシーンにおいて、このテンションは多くのDJ達が望む理想的なスタイルといえるだろう。

レーベルメイトであるKyohei AkagawaのRemixはDeep Tech〜Electroを融合させた彼にしか作り得ない独自色全開のRemix。

Kyohei Akagawaの多くの楽曲を聴いてきた筆者も「これはベストワークのひとつではないか？」と思わされるほど5分間の繊細で美しい世界がそこには広がっている。

Here at Synth, we're absolutely thrilled to unveil our 100th release! It's been an incredible journey, one that wouldn't had been possible without the passion, dedication and talent of a myriad of artists and without the constant support of the ever growing melodic progressive scene, that we're proudly being part of. For this extraordinary milestone, we have the debut album of an artist that has captured the audience with his vividly imaginative productions, none other than Japan's own, Yusuke Teranishi.
Dedicated to the vastness and grandness of space, with 'Over the World's Clouds', Yusuke has crafted a mesmerising sonic adventure from start to finish, from his personal take of a space prog opera with the title track and 'Cosmonaut', to the romantic progressive ballad 'When she smiles', to the dusk-themed '2am' and the ever sundrenched 'Coral reef' and the retro-tinged 'Feels alright'. Featuring names like Nils Karr, Cosmaks, Yasin Guven, Jan Martin, Inxisiv and Sogabe for visionary collabs, the album is an embodiment of pure emotion, power and musical meditation.
Fans of deeply emotive music will have much to enjoy as Yusuke's talent will capture their interest with a wide array of styles, from melodic progressive pieces to ambient and chill and even synthwave.
Seeking new heights with his music, this is Yusuke Teranishi and his magical debut album 'Over the world's clouds'.

Recorded July 16th, 2018 at the 3rd edition of the "Listen to Music Outside in the Daylight Under a Tree" series of outdoor environmental music concerts from Leaving Records and Tierra de la Culebra in Highland Park Los Angeles.

These events are currently on pause, but I look forward to the day they resume, and we can once again gather, listen and rejoice.

Followers of ambient music will no doubt know Ario as the man behind @astralindustries, the revered label that fuses reissued work with new releases from some of the most exciting artists in the genre. Despite the challenges thrown up by 2020, this year alone has seen AI releases from @multicastdynamics, The Chi Factory and Waveform Transmission, among others, and 2021 already promises to be even more prolific for both the label and its boss. 

Yet London-based Ario is just as much a DJ in his own right, with a sound that evades neat categorisation: drawn to the “deeply ritualistic and primal” side of drone, yet partial to the occasional dance floor set, he is reluctant to get too concrete when discussing his own music. His Patterns of Perception 77 is designed to challenge the listener – built on the belief that, contrary to what many may think, an ambient set is not necessarily designed to soothe and subdue.

Following his recent remix of Nox Vahn’s iconic track ‘Brainwasher’, which gained support from Super Flu, Nora En Pure and Luttrell, Washington D.C.-based DJ and producer Enamour now delivers his three-track ‘Say Hello EP’. 

Opening the EP is title track ‘Say Hello’, first heard on Anjunadeep 12, which features vocals from Malaysian singer-songwriter Meliha. ‘Inquiz’ is filled with intertwining synths whilst ‘Hands That Feed’ features an evolving lead. Enamour’s technical productions have seen him release on labels including Future Classic, Lane 8’s This Never Happened and mau5trap.
