Attic Edits is a three-track EP of light-hearted summer delights from Moiety & Manik. These two producers are no strangers, they’re kinfolk - part of the INI family. Both producers have appeared on our ‘De Gulden Snede’ Series and several other releases. In the heat of the summer between DJing and the countless demands of life, the duo found the time to collaborate and dusted of an old Johny Guitar Watson record. From there on several sessions took place forming the Attic Edits.

The main force behind OOFT Music is Ali Herron. Originally cutting his production chops with tracky edits and some early OOFT! remixes alongside The Revenge, Ali has been steadily building up his own studio over the last 5 years, putting out a series of deep, pitched- down house tracks on labels such as Instruments of Rapture, PPF, Delusions of Grandeur, Rememory and Wolf Music.

DJ-wise he has played in most of the clubs that matter in Scotland, including The Sub Club, The Arches, Glasgow School of Art, Stereo, Snafu, and The Reading Rooms amongst many others. Recent European trips have seen him take his sound across Germany, Poland, Finland, France and Spain.

Originally running the L.E.S.S. Productions imprint alongside The Revenge and DJ 2Three, Ali’s main creative outlet is currently his own Foto Recordings label which also showcases material from colleagues such as Andy Ash, Deep Space Orchestra and Craig Bratley.

When the super smooth voice of Mr. Lou Rawls teamed up with song writing royalty "Gamble & Huff" in 1976 to create Lou's biggest hit "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" the rest as they say is musical history. Although I'm happy I was even around to jam to this Banger, I really wish I was old enough to hear this blasting through the speakers at Studio 54 or some cool club at the time... :-) Many great DJ's have featured different versions of this disco smash, but I just wanted to add my flavor to the musical pot. (Enjoy!!!)

Fantastic remix of the classic Willie Bobo track. Original version recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in 1965...remix done in 2002 and released on the Verve Remixed album.

This recording gets the quasi-audiophile treatment...Rega P3, Dynavector 10x5 cartridge, PrimaLuna ProLogue Three & MOTU 896HD audio interface recording at 24/96. To top it off this 7 1/2 minute song fills up an ENTIRE record side pressed at 33 1/3! These grooves are insane! Easily one of the best "dance" 12"s I've ever heard. Dig that bass!
