A privilege and an honor - the best way to describe playing one of the best clubs in the world, Stereo in Montreal, or ((( )))

Montreal is a very unique place in the world of clubbing. When everyone else is going to bed, the Montreal clubbers are just getting their night started. I was given the task of helping them celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving in the early hours of Monday October 14.

As a sincere thank you to everyone for your support and appreaction throughout the year, including this year's DJ Mag Top 100  poll, this is a small way of saying thank you. This is the entire 463 minutes of my set at Stereo. No cuts, no edits, just exactly how it went down. 

Hope you enjoy the journey. Just have some spare underwear handy in case you need it.

If anything binds the tangle of styles that rock Orjan Nilsen’s productions, it’s energy. And there’s plenty of that served on his new one. The second single of his upcoming album is the shiny, big-room loaded ‘Violetta’!
Hot off the dark shaded ‘No Saint Out Of Me’, the Norwegian producer sets the tone with another 7 minute work of art. The pre-taste of what awaits us of his second artist album, the follow-up to the successful ‘In My Opinion’, is more than promising. It’s unlike any of his previous works, yet carries that unmistakable Nilsen sound. 

Building at a right speed, rapidly unfolding its melodic character and kicking in right after its break. That’s what ‘Violetta’ is all about. Another tune that deserves the Armind halo on top.

SYNTHINEL is producer and DJ J.C. Anchante’s electronic music project. He is a longtime musician who since his early career has been influenced by New Wave, Indie, Shoegazing, Synthpop and Trance. As a guitarist, he performed in the major festivals and venues of his country, Peru. He is well-known for his technique, style and particular taste on music; his signature sound creates an enveloping and eclectic atmosphere.
With SYNTHINEL, Anchante continues to evolve as an artist, rocking a new persona in the scope of electronic music, the perfect genre to develop the full range of his art and creativity, not only as a musician but as a designer and producer. "For a long time I wanted to experiment with this genre. Music has unlimited possibilities and at this point of my career I aspire to give my audience a memorable experience that combines music, art and image. Furthermore, I want them to feel a sensory climax that makes our musical connection sublime”.
In 2012, SYNTHINEL produced and released independently his first EP “Rise Of Synthinel”. He also produced remixes of hot new successful artists like Skrillex and Zedd, and alternative artists like Bjork and Garbage. His second EP "I Wanna Be More Human" was released in April 2013 by Dutch EDM digital record label 7 Stars Music.
After a three year hiatus when he worked full time in the studio composing and producing for indie bands, he is back in the trance electronic scene, and about to release two new tracks this September 2017. Stay tuned!
