Initially drawn to the Peak Time - Driving style, his journey has since evolved, now resonating with the raw and hypnotic grooves of techno. His sets tell a story, first hitting your body and then captivating your mind, delivering a deep and immersive experience.

Shaymen Phillips also known as (INSOMNIA) is a local producer and Dj from Cape Town. His love and passion for psychedelic music all started in the year of  2015 when he started to chase his dream of becoming a world renown producer and Dj. Shaymen is studying music production and sound technology at Cape Audio College. In the year of 2020 Shaymen received a certificate for Music Production at the Rise Academy institute in Cape Town South Africa.
