Gary Douglas Turner studied music theory, piano, electronic music composition, recording, synthesis and sound development at Dean College, Worcester State College and Clark University.  Gary has been composing music and developing synthesizer sounds for over 36 years.  Gary has collaborated with Scott Whipple in composing "Lizard In The Window", a music soundtrack for the Fusionworks Dance Company of Rhode Island, along with several other friends over the years including Christoher Caouette, Christopher Cameron and Walter Kolosky.

Trance, techno, ambient meets spacesynth and orchestral, in this chilled mix of instrumental tracks in various tempos, often progressive, always melodic. These are work in progress - a reflection of me experimenting and having fun trying to learn this stuff!

Currently, I work as an Art Director in the video game industry. I've been working in games for close to 26 years now and I love every second of it. 

A little background into my music side tho:
Growing up in a film and musical family environment in Los Angeles, California, lead to many influences in music in a most eclectic way. From classical to electronic....I built a "library" of influences that I am still building today.

In 1984 I moved from LA to San Francisco (now back in LA).That changed everything. I attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, specializing in electronic music and that was it....I was captivated. To have the sound of a full orchestra or the ability to bend frequencies at the push of a button or slider...well, you know....its quite the feeling. I also fell in love with the Koto and decided to take lessons in it as well. Thank you Yuri! <3
