Nordic surroundings, vibrant seasons, and strong elements influences the Stockholm (Berlin) based artist Alnö.

Captured by the underground scene of Sweden, first as techno blogger and holder of Gbgtechno, the passion for electronic music brought Alnö to start Dj-ing and moved to Berlin in 2017. Becoming a resident of the techno collective Zement, Alnö got the opportunity to form her own sound and play at underground events in Germany and Sweden.

Alnö expresses the sounds of deep, dark and hypnotic techno and her well composed, dynamic sets of evolving and driving soundscapes, powerful beats, and atmospheric rhythms, brings the listener to discover new energies and spheres of sounds.

Alnö combines her artistic side as the founder and curator of the Berlin based event series Deep x Heights, focusing on connecting upcoming and established artists together by creating a platform for them to interact, grow and explore their own unique sound.

Knaughty is a project by Kvachi, a multimedia artist born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia, and currently a resident of the KHIDI club. Born into a family with a strong musical background, Kvachi's connection to music traces back to their earliest years, particularly during the dynamic era of the 1990s. Over the years, Kvachi has been collecting music and has evolved into a DJ, expressing their inspirations and visions through mixing. The essence of Knaughty as a project lies in its embrace of musical diversity.

In 2017, they first joined KHIDI club as a graphic designer, bringing their creative skills to the visual aspects of the club's identity and promotions. Their passion for music soon became noticeable as they began to showcase their talent in DJing. Through their dedication and musical abilities, Knaughty became a resident DJ at KHIDI club. They are one of the curators of Leash Communal, an event series at KHIDI, with a focus on strengthening the local queer community in Tbilisi.

The third episode of our podcast series presents 7astris, co-founder of the project.

Fascinated by different shades of art, 7astris approaches this mix with a cinematic vision on techno rhythms. The hypnotic and intricate pads evoke different degrees of emotions while the pressing rhythms of the industrial drum complete the sound picture. From the first words of the intro, the set tries to imagine a collective ritual in which everyone can lose themselves.

This versatility allows her to handle a wide range of dancefloor situations, sifting through thumping beats and bouncing grooves while keeping an unmistakeable sonic signature.
In most recent times, she has proved her dexterity on multiple occasions:
From setting the right mood at opening sets for her residency with Berlin’s Disconnekt collective,
To upholding high energy through extended closing sets in the basement of Tresor Berlin

Javier Gantz, DJ y productor de techno con base en Madrid, ha trascendido las barreras de la música electrónica desde que se aventuró tras las cabinas en 2016. Gracias a su devoción por fusionar los sonidos que siempre le han cautivado, ha forjado una carrera distintiva y apasionada en la escena underground nacional. 

Influenciado por maestros clásicos como Regis y James Ruskin, así como por visionarios contemporáneos como Reeko y Blawan, sus sets son experiencias cargadas de texturas envolventes, líneas de bajo contundentes, sintetizadores hipnóticos y audaces producciones experimentales. Se asegura de narrar una historia sonora que te transporta a una atmósfera donde la intensidad crece de manera progresiva. 

 

Desde 2021, también se interesa por la producción, tanto con su nombre en solitario como con su aka ILL COMMUNICATION, habiendo lanzado ya en sellos de renombre como Illegal Alien, Selected Records, Index Marcel Fengler y Utopia Society, sello que codirige.

Javier Gantz is a Madrid-based techno DJ and producer who has been pushing the boundaries of electronic music since stepping behind the decks in 2016. Thanks to his deep passion for blending the sounds that have always captivated him, he has shaped a distinctive and dynamic career within Spain’s underground scene. 

 

Drawing inspiration from legendary pioneers like Regis and James Ruskin, as well as contemporary innovators such as Reeko and Blawan, his sets are immersive journeys layered with rich textures, powerful basslines, hypnotic synths and bold experimental productions. Every performance is a carefully crafted sonic narrative, building in intensity and depth as it unfolds. 

 

Since 2021, he has also explored music production, releasing both under his own name and his alias ILL COMMUNICATION. His work has found a home on renowned labels like Illegal Alien, Selected Records, Index Marcel Fengler and Utopia Society, the label he co-direct

Pablo Oñate, nacido en Cádiz y con residencia en Madrid, es conocido artísticamente como Onn. Actualmente es residente de Sinapsis Electrónica, colectivo que actualmente está experimentando una gran ascendencia en la escena madrileña. 

Onn ha ido forjando su sonido a través de una mezcla de breaks en su época mas temprana y enamorándose poco a poco del techno Birmingham, Detroit y Berlín, su selección en vinilo crea un viaje rítmico donde la crudeza y la melodía se encuentran en perfecta armonía.

Cold and prickly like his origins from northern Italy, Lorenzo Papes aka P4PS makes a huge contribution to the European underground techno scene.
His tracks are constantly supported in clubs such as Tresor, Berghain, Fold and Bassiani by top artists such as DVS1, Richie Hawtin, Kaiser, Pfirter, Ben Sims to name a few.
His sound stands out for its dark and mental sonorities influenced by the underground scene and he has recently collaborated with major labels such as MindTrip, Rudiment, Subsist, Diffuse Reality, SRIE and Luminal.

BIO:

Candela Paos Dj Malagueña, melómana desde la infancia y coleccionista incansable de sonidos.
Su pasión por descubrir música y compartirla, construir ambientes con ella y alimentar una colección
que no ha dejado de crecer, hizo que en unos cuatro años, en medio de uno de sus interminables bailes en la pista,
tuviera la revelación: debía aprender a mezclar toda esa música que llevaba dentro.

Desde entonces, Candela Paos afincada en Madrid desde hace media vida se ha abierto camino en la escena
electrónica con determinación. En poco más de dos años ha consolidado un estilo propio dentro del techno:
sets oscuros, hipnóticos, con bajos profundos y una carga emocional que nunca falta.
Para ella, pinchar no es solo mezclar pistas, sino narrar una experiencia a través del sonido.

La hemos podido escuchar  en espacios clave de la capital como La Asociación, compartiendo cabina con el
sello Selected Records;  participado en Jaleo Real, una de las fiestas más punteras del circuito madrileño; 
firmado un podcast para el colectivo londinense Heb Sed y su última aparición hace días en el aniversario conjunto de Kunst y Visceral.

Based in Stockholm/Sweden, Lakej [ Lákeɪ ] emerges from a long heritage of Swedish techno. After many years of explorations to refine his sound, he debuted on Adriana Lopez label Grey Report with the solo EP Structural Cohesion. This debut presented a theme that would guide not only his sound but also his concepts and titles to this current date resulting in his own label and artistic platform: Solitär.With a huge love for details and rhythmic structures his music has evolved into an introspective, futuristic and yet timeless sound. With intricate textures, atmospheres and deep driving rhythms his music is constantly pushing forward contributing to the current modern underground techno scene.Since the debut his output has been steady on well established labels such as Semantica, NON series, Faut Section, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Soma and Kazerne (Mord).
