158 taon mula nang ipinanganak si Andres Bonifacio ay wala pa ring pagbabago sa kalagayan ng masang anakpawis. Ang lupang patuloy na nakatali sa dayuhang interes, na siyang itinataguyod at pinoprotektahan ng mga panginoong maylupa at burgesya kumprador, ay hindi pa rin naipapamahagi sa mga magbubukid. Walang demokrasya sa bayang winawasak ang mga lupang ninuno at kinakamkam ang likas-yaman kapalit ng dayuhang interes. Walang demokrasya sa bayang ang sarili nitong mga mangingisda ay hindi malayang nakapangingisda at nakararanas ng banta sa sarili nilang karagatan. Walang demokrasya sa bayang pinapatay ng estado ang mga magsasakang dumedepensa lamang sa kanilang lupain. Walang demokrasya sa bayang sinusupil ng estado ang mga aktibistang tumitindig sa hanay ng mga magsasaka at manggagawa.

Kaya naman ang pagdakila kay Bonifacio ay pagkilala sa kawastuhan ng pagtahak sa landas ng rebolusyon dahil siya mismo ay sumandig sa masang anakpawis upang maglunsad nito. Hangga’t nagpapatuloy ang laban ng mga magsasaka para sa tunay na reporma sa lupa at hangga’t tayo’y kumikilos upang ipagpatuloy ang sinimulang laban ni Bonifacio para sa kalayaan ay mananatiling buhay ang diwa ng Katipunan.

Isabuhay natin ang pag-ibig sa tinubuang lupa. Patuloy tayong magmulat, mag-organisa, at kumilos para sa lipunang tunay na malaya mula sa lahat ng uri ng pang-aapi.
