[WM01] - Uf0 vs Sound Synthesis - Ethereal Collision EP

During a routine exploratory mission, a starship comes across a strange planet seemingly devoid of life but pockmarked by a series of craters and underground caverns.  As the ship descends to explore these caverns, the crew begins to realize they are not alone...

Composed using OpenMPT and a few simple free VSTs.
Most samples and loops created from scratch using various synthesizer apps on my iPhone.

This is my first tracker composition in over 20 years.  I'm interested in licensing out my music (or writing new music for hire) for usage in video games or other media.  Inquiries welcome.

This is probably one of the oldest song ideas I've ever had. It's gone through many many many different iterations, but I was never happy with them. I think I've finally managed to do the melody justice with this incarnation.

As an active member of the mid-1990s tracker scene (IRC #trax):

 - served as an early adopter and tester during Jeffrey Lim's development of Impulse Tracker

 - co-founded Landslide (a tiny, brief music label) with Cylus (aka Morgan Page) and produced a compilation album (simply titled "#trax")

 - co-produced multiple albums for Nebula Music Works (aka "Trax In Space Records" aka "TiS Records")

 - wrote and released songs as a member of Canada-based musician collective N.O.I.S.E. (New Objectives In Sound Exploration)

As a mostly self-taught multi-instrumentalist (piano, bass, guitar, drums) and singer, I've performed both solo and in countless Seattle-area bands. I've even had a performance used in a major motion picture (2009's "Duplicity" remake starring Clive Owen and Julia Roberts).
