Ricksen is an artist from Berlin. When he started making music he was about 13 years old, having played the drums for a while at first. Only over time did he develop a great passion for music. This passion took root when Ricksen watched videos on the internet from festivals at a young age. He was very enthusiastic about them & at the same time he felt that he would like to be the one who bangs his treasures on the audience's ears on the stage.

Ricksen's music style is based on a dark sound. Industrial techno has always been the genre of music that fascinates him the most. He loves tracks that focus on driving sounds and are accompanied by lots of basslines. He usually closes the end of his sets very melodically and brings out the last emotions again.

It is an honor for us to have this up-and-coming artist as our guest. Tune in and fidget properly 👯‍♀️

FR : Bien qu'il soit relativement nouveau sur la scène techno, Raël a déjà acquis une vision claire qu'il transmet à travers ses productions et ses sets. 

Son style pourrait être défini comme de la techno frénétique combinée à des sons durs et des mélodies envoûtantes.

Récemment installé à Berlin où il a lancé son propre label Hardest Soft, il est prêt à laisser sa propre marque où que ce voyage le mène.

 US : Despite being relatively new to the techno scene Raël has already acquired a clear vision that he conveys through his productions and his sets. 

His style could be defined as frenetic techno combined with harsh sounds and mesmerising melodies.

Recently relocated to Berlin where he launched his own label Hardest Soft, he is ready to leave its own mark wherever this journey takes him.

For this month‘s wav:es series we present you Schanzencore,

After years of playing back 2 back sets the two brothers Leon and Noah Schanzenbach decided to finally give their duo appearance a name: SCHANZENCORE.

Because of their strong brotherhood and same vision of music they know each others mixing technics blind, which creates the perfect synergy you can recognize in their sets. The early 2000s are their biggest inspiration as the sound they play is very percussive and hard-groovy. 

This set was recorded to be a manifest of their percussive devotion. Enjoy!
