Without a doubt KRL MX (Karl Max) is one of the most promising up and coming artists currently. Another product of the Paris techno/hard dance scene, Krl has been releasing some fantastic music of late including a thundering track on Ismus most recent VA compilation as well as a remix for ARTS and superb EPs on Ismus and the well known COUP imprint.

Karl own productions have been supported by artists such as Amelie Lens, 999999999, Shlomo, Regal, Paula Temple, Rebekah and more.

If this is the first you have heard of Krl Max then you are in for a treat.

Raised in Berlin, the city’s musical landscape grabbed hold of him from a very young age. This ripened into a fully grown love for Techno and electronic music and led to him beginning to make music himself. But as a lot of people know, in this concrete sea it can be difficult to get your head above water. This was no deterrent for Frederic. however, it was more of a motivation. The solution was the foundation of what would be known as [Selected]. The party series at the now defunct Arena Club would grow from simply being a stage for a group of friends, wanting to cut their teeth on the wheels of steel, to a household name known for a specific type of groovy, old-school sound that Berlin’s Ravers were clearly thirsting for. 
And nothing stood more for this sound than the closing sets that saw Frederic. share the Decks with his friend and labelmate Gutter.
This friendship would grow into what is now known as the collab project TRQ-30, where Frederic and Gutter create the sort of sound together that they developed. Over their steadily growing back-catalogue, punching kickdrums & bouncing 909-hihats meet the sort of soaring pads & chords that would make a Detroit native jump with joy. Pair all that with occasional nods to 90s Acid and you arrive again at concluding their sound in one word : mature. More than a lot of today’s Techno is.
With the growing name of [Selected] the logical next step was to turn it from being only a party series into a label project.Providing, once again, a platform for young, upcoming and incredibly talented artists. Be it old friends, or new accomplices, the label shows a growing roster and a hunger to bring the next generation of techno into the scene.

Vienna-born and Berlin-based DLV is not a blank slate in Europe’s techno industry. He defines his music as a realm of sinister peak-time Techno.

A strong focus on productions and his DJ career, made him score an underground hit called “Rave Instructor“. This heavy dance-floor weapon achieved some big support coming from techno royalties such as Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, Regal, and many more.

Besides his longstanding residency at Grelle Forelle, he kept pushing his personal limits. As founder of Acid Techno Techno Club, a Vienna-based label and event series he started working as well behind the scenes and contributing to the techno industry. Soon he became a well-known and respected figure in the Austrian capital’s Techno scene.

The dedication to his work and passion for music, resulted to perform at Red Bull’s Soundclash in Stuttgart back in 2019, followed by shows in Europe's infamous Techno capitals Berlin and Paris. With convincing performances, he could gain international attention for his projects. 

During the current pandemic situations, he focuses on new productions and could score upcoming releases on renowned labels like Klangkünstler's OUTWORLD, Animal Farm Glasgow, and Voxnox Berlin.

This story just started to be written, be prepared for more heavy and acidic-influenced weapons and follow the path of DLV.

In 2018, Chlär officially entered the techno scene by releasing his first EP on Bipolar Disorder Rec at the age of 20. His first involvement in the world of electronic music consisted of organizing illegal rave parties in his home country; Switzerland.

Having played in several major club capitals in Europe, he has caught the attention of more and more people by providing ‘’skillful and outstanding" performances. Producer and craftsman of sound, Chlär shines through his unconventional approach to techno. With the use of scientific and meticulous methods, he continues to fine tune the progress of his search for increasingly organic, pounding grooves and soundscapes to create simple and subtle elements that embody effective, energetic and highly infectious pieces of music. 

Now at ease with the production of many genres : from straight forward techno, nostalgic trancy sounds, electro-break-your-neck beats, to old-school stomping grooves, Chlär successfully demonstrated his skills by releasing a wide range of ‘’futuristic bangers’’.

He is also a former mastering engineer and co-runs Bipolar Disorder Rec. with friend and artistic collaborator, The Chronics. Chlär is sharpening his musical senses and abilities on many sides of the industry, by being an artist and engineer but also working in A&R and Event Management.

The young artist keeps a delightful and unique mixture between melodies and sound textures, maneu- vering from light to shadow, from gentle to hard. He loves bold changes in mood while maintaining the powerful momen- tum of a rolling train. As a producer he made his first appearances on the french Industrial- & Acidtechno label „Kolkoz Records“ in 2014 and released his solo debut-EP „Otherworld“ on „Cirque du Mini- maliste“ in march 2018, followed by releases on „Eradys Re- cords“, „Ohne kommerziellen Wert“, “Illegal Alien”s sub label „Vector Functions Records“ and previously the Berlin based vinyl label “Space Trax”, just to name a few. Blame The Mono is the result of an uncompromising artistic encounter between two DJs and producers. As members of a new generation decided to push the boundaries of conventional techno, their productions offer forward-thinking sound design and strong stylistic identity through an important blend of influences ranging from Metal, Rock, and Hip Hop to PsyTrance.

Their signature usage of vocals combined with rich song arrangements and sometimes dark, sometimes euphoric moods, make their tracks diverse, yet they all remain fine tuned for peak-time chaos. The duo’s DJ sets present an explosive selection highlighting their love of digging and show their will to satisfy the hungriest and sweatiest dancefloors.

The Berlin-based producer duo Kalte Liebe keeps drawing their inspiration from Post-Punk, Grunge, Dark Wave, EBM, and Techno. Coming with years-long experiences in different musical projects ranging from beat-making over metal bands, and more they started back in 2019 using a drum machine, a bass synth, and a wasted microphone, only.

Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences by the likes of DAF, Falco, Thomas P. Heckmann and more into their distinctively analog, raw, and bassline-driven style.

While their productions are mostly consisting of an elaborated mixture of EBM and old-school Dark Wave paired with technoid characteristics and captivating, roughly distorted vocals in German and English the duo equally stands for tool-ish and highly energetic Techno – modern, pounding, and dirty.

With recent releases on labels like 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse and BFT, even more strongly performing self-releases like „Ego EP“ and their recent work „Dopamin“ they are slowly establishing their name in the scene and quickly growing their audience. With loads of unreleased work and their Vocal Live Performance Kalte Liebe is soon to be heard all over.

B2 is an upcoming musician within the techno scene that has gained attention from the big names over the past years. 
His latest EP Release "Heavy Machine" on the label from 999999999 is a massive hit and gained support throughout the whole scene.

From South-Germany, he delivers compact techno rhythms that contain all the elements that are needed for a dance floor heater: hypnotic grooves, massive kick drums and energizing basslines as well as hi-hats through the space with maximum result: A sweaty crowd.

Peachlyfe (they/them) is a hydra-sonic electronic musician that shook & seduced the Copenhagen fast-paced techno scene, claiming their seat along with the Fast Forward Agency.
Peachlyfe’s productions and live-sets rebelliously weave across genres, trippy melodies cut with heavy slaps while slithering whispers in your ear sowing the dismantlement of the ‘cistem’. Their previous EP “All Tits are Real, All Money is Fake, All Hail Satan” is an ode to that anarchic-playfulness, a marvellous feat in blending rave-rush joy and queer defiance.

He has released on labels such as ARTS or Ismus and also runs his own label Life In Patterns, which has recently seen its fourth vinyl release.

Now based in Berlin, DJ, producer and label head Xiorro out of the US is one of the brightest stars emitting from an invigorated American techno scene. A Boston-born, first generation American with Afro-Puerto Rican heritage, moved to New York in 2010. In 2016, he co-founded ALKHEMY and Brooklyn’s beloved party, The Black Hole, with the genesis dedicated to creating space and spreading diversity for the marginalized in techno.

Between 2016-2020, The Black Hole, pushed a hard dance sound that helped culminate the launch of a dynamic and well-rounded rave landscape in Brooklyn. It also gave birth to the collective’s label, Whirlwind Trax, which he co-founded with the Double Dragon mixtape-style EP.

Following his European debut at Tresor’s New Faces series in 2018, Xiorro went on to become Griessmuehle’s first international resident in 2019 and now has transitioned to the club’s new location, RSO, where he has again picked up his legacy.

After having his ravey and brazen sound picked up by Amelie Lens’ Exhale label in 2021, Xiorro has gone on to release his debut EPs Chromatic Meteor Shower and Enter the Zone, on Lobster Theremin in 2022. Looking ahead, Xiorro’s own Whirlwind Trax will serve as the next platform to present his upcoming work.

There is this kind of people that constantly yearns for the days ‘back in the days’. A ‘back in the days’ they mostly haven’t even witnessed for themselves. Those good old times when there still was an ‘underground’, when there was no ventilation in clubs, No Champagne at the bar, just ‘real’ Techno and loads of good sex. Well, Frank Heise is not one of those people. He doesn’t spend his time mourning after visions of electronic music and culture long gone. He creates new ones.

From dry and pithy Techno beats to heart-opening Rave-orgasms, from hypnotic Trance lines to disconcerting ambient tunes – Heise knows how to play his electronic claviature. Be it in the studio where he composes and produces his own tracks with analog drum machines and a modular synth system, or in the DJ booth where the notorious vinyl enthusiast shows off his most polished mixing skills. Always in sync, always devoted, always all in.

Well, the underground is long dead, the ventilation is finally installed, and there’s still loads of good sex – just not on the menu.
