Waldorf has released the Pulse 2 analog synthesizer, a "cutting-edge reincarnation of the company's Pulse series". And I am happy to announce, that I have done the preset sounddesign among other highly acclaimed sounddesigners.

The Sound designers (also mentioned in the manual) of the new presets (not sure aboutthe Pulse 1 ones) with initials (used with the patch names) in brackets are:

- Stefan Stenzel (hard- + software developer and CEO, no initials)

- Christian Gritzner (CG)
- Till Kopper (TEK)
- Dirk Krause (DK)
- Rob Lee (RL)
- Ingo Weidner (IW)

I also did a demosong for the pulse2 the same way i did the one for the rocket synthesizer, all sounds are take from the pulse2 !


Waldorf Pulse 2 Analog Synthesizer demo by Jürgen Driessen

It's a demo of raw Waldorf Pulse 2 synth. No effects, compression or anything else applied. Just some pan and volume level settings.

Programs used: 383, 373, 335, 140, couple of custom ones. Every program was tweaked a bit, mostly filter and envelop settings.

Total 11 layered audio tracks used.

RawPulses — Waldorf Pulse 2 demo

I picked up the new Pulse 2 synthesizer by Waldorf, and have fallen for the German desktop wonder! This track was really all about discovering the sound and some of the potential of this new analog monosynth. All sounds except the drums are from P2. 

Feeling A Pulse - Pulse 2

93 epic Trance sounds, compatible with the Roland JD-08. This bank is 100% Trance-oriented, which means no weird brass, pianos, or FX.

Patches in Glissade are based on sounds from songs by the likes of DuMonde, Gaia, Ace Da Brain, ATB, Robert Nickson, Paul van Dyk, Faithless, BT, Airbase, The Thrillseekers, Woody Van Eyden, Mike Koglin, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Marcel Woods, Voodoo & Serano, Kai Tracid, and many many more!

And to cap off the bank some patches were set to INIT, so you have room to write and store your own patches without overwriting any existing sounds!

Only 3rd party FX used on these sounds was Virus TI2 reverb.
