SOundScape #162 System Of Survival

SOundScape is a project started off as a mixtape series of eclectic selection of sounds curated by System Of Survival. Encompassing a wide musical spectrum has born with the intention of displaying influences, sounds and rhythms often left out a dancefloor orientated set.
SOundScape is a show broadcasted by the popular IBIZA SONICA RADIO every Friday from 12.00 pm to 01.00 pm CET. The spirit is obviously the same: guests have the liberating opportunity to play WHATEVER inspires them. Listening to these unrestricted sets by notable DJs will be one more time an experience not to be missed.

First Slovakian DJ to have a worldwide track premiere by Hernan Cattaneo (6th best DJ in the world at one point) in his Resident podcast Episode 158 aired May 17th 2014, also aired on our national radio station Radio_FM in 4 ELEMENTS_FM radio show presented by Michal Breeth as part of Slovakian premiere, Hernan emphasized to Michal that he can't premiere my track before he premieres it on his show, little background moment :D

House music activist since 2007 when he started to organize parties in his hometown Strasbourg and became one of the resident DJs of the famous club in the East of France, Le Rafiot. He’s been also the co-host for two years of the weekly Souldancer radio show on RBS and he began to produce in 2009 with a laptop and a small modular.
In 2016 he became one of the instigators of the MOoNDALA parties, and since 2018 host of the monthly MOoNDALA radio show on ODC Live.
It’s only in august 2019 that we discover a part of his studio works with his first EP « Shaolin Skunk » on MoodyHouse Recordings, an hommage to his first influences back in 2k, where he fell in love with the house music at the age of 14 in Ibiza.

Directly inspired by his experience behind the decks and his perception of the dancefloor, he concentrates in his productions his rich panel of influences and merge the differents vibes and energies to reveal a oneness.
He worked through all this years in the studio with this unique goal, sharing the most faithfully possible his idealistic vision of the groove.

For John Fritz, music is a spiritual thing, a love thing. Pushing the boundaries of styles in the perpetual quest of the essence of the grooves, he makes music with his heart and makes no concessions in the expression of his art.
