SOundScape Series is a project that started off as a mixtape series of an eclectic selection of sounds curated by System Of Survival. Encompassing a wide musical spectrum has born with the intention of displaying influences, sounds and rhythms often left out a dance floor orientated set.
SOundScape is a show broadcasted by the popular @ibizasonica every Friday from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm CET. The spirit is obviously the same: guests have the liberating opportunity to play WHATEVER inspires them. Listening to these unrestricted sets by notable DJs will be one more time an experience not to be missed.

Originally from Athens, Greece, I began as a DJ in 1989 - aged 16. My first paid gig was at a seaside rock bar, playing 70s and 80s indie and alternative. Since those early days of cassette mixtapes, my style has morphed and evolved whilst remaining eclectic. I now live and work in Edinburgh, Scotland - via London - since 1998.

My two key DJ personas shifted between bar-, and club-work, playing anything from jazz, trip hop, and alt-pop to house, techno, and nu skool breaks.

Since 2013 and while my style remains eclectic, I favour indie dance, acid disco, and tech house, always infused with 80s elements from goth, electro, and ambient.

A mix is a journey with a story throughout - it has a beginning, a middle, and an end - so sit back and relax, or get up and dance, but always stay the course...

Oliver Marcs has been in the mind-altering frequencies game knocking on nearly 2 decades now with genre bending skills based around chunky cosmic sounding house & disco, garage, even welding in breaks & dnb, a diverse selecter cutting his teeth playing some credible circuits and events located in Birmingham such as, Custard Factory and The Rainbow being his main haunt at nights like FACE, Sunday Club, 2:31 to name a few but it would be MUSATCHIO who picked him up for a resident spot that would see him set sail for the white isle but not before cementing himself as part of the NFS collective and bringing Pro Audio to Worcestershire.
Ibiza blessed him with some action-packed events and infamous venues such as Pike's Hotel holding residency for MUSTACHIO, Others such as We Love Sundays at Space rubbing shoulders with the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Mark Jenkyns, Andy Carrol, Julio Bashmore, Acid Mondays, VisionQuest just name a few. Always working closely in events and applying himself to the productions also, for Paradise DC10 and Elrow at Space, this would be the spark of interest to create his own brand.
Now based back in the UK, after a short break from twisting Knobs he's done exactly that,
“No Comply Audio” which create & curate events, bespoke stage construction and pro audio, for the most part; He quotes “being fuelled by restrictions placed on everyone globally and as a stand up for all artists and creators that suffered from unnecessary propaganda stamping out all hedonism and the hospitality industry in its wake, I vowed not to Comply but to push on”
Now with his own festival brand under his belt “PLEASURE DOME” and his studio work coming together he’s taking a firm stance in the booth once again.
