SOundScape is a project started off as a mixtape series of eclectic selection of sounds curated by System Of Survival. Encompassing a wide musical spectrum has born with the intention of displaying influences, sounds and rhythms often left out a dancefloor orientated set. 
SOundScape soon has found its place also as a unique monthly party hosted at Barcelona’s renowned Macarena Club (last Thursday of every month) where System Of Survival invite famous DJs /Producers from all over the world to play. SOundScape will be now also a show broadcasted by the popular IBIZA SONICA RADIO every Friday. The spirit is obviously the same: guests have the liberating opportunity to play WHATEVER inspires them. Listening to these unrestricted sets by notable DJs will be one more time an experience not to be missed.

     Santonio Echols (Santonio, Dj Adam Pole) (Tresor Records (Berlin)Detroit Dancer, D Records (Germany,) A.E.S. (Art, Eddie and Santonio,) Opilec Music, Cyren America Records, Siren, Chapter 2 Recordings (Detroit), Made In Detroit Random Noise Recordings (Belgium)  and q mentoring partner to I  Believe In You Records [USA].  Santonio is  member  of the first generation of Techno Producers to emerge from Detroit, MI, in the late 1980’s.  His discography spans 1987 to date and he is currently in production on the Liz Torres  “Mind Games - Remix” on Third Ear Recordings.
     Echols is well known for his role in the famed duo “Reese & Santonio,” who are responsible for timeless underground classics  spanning 1987-89,  "The Sound/ How To Play Our Music, Bounce Your Body to the Box, Truth of Self Evidence and the internationally renowned "Rock to the Beat" which was distributed in 1988 on the UK label “ffrr” (Full Frequency Range Recordings.)
     After completing production in England with ffrr, Echols had the confidence to continue his passion for producing techno and house music.  He developed  a relationship with Paragon Productions and James Pennington aka Suburban Knight and the compilation, “There’s No Way Out”  featuring the track “It’s Not Over,” was released.  Additionally in 1989 Santonio remixed "Take me away" by Bridgette Grace, written by Jeff Mills and  T.Srock for Paragon Productions.  Santonio Echols has toured in Europe including gigs at Tresor Club in Berlin and Club Slam in Cologne. He started DJ’ing when he was 19 years old with his brother Duane Evans in the old school traditions of the West Side of Detroit and never stopped being committed to going to the next level. 2007 saw the release of “Extraction of Identity”  on Cyren America Records. This is one of over 30 releases
     During the last two years  Santonio has worked Nikolaos Moiré Patterns, Clemens Neufeld,  Oliver Lieb, Combinator, Jonas Asp,  Duane Evans, Orlando Voorn, MoBlack, Dj Deep, Greg Stafford, Claude Young, Blake Baxter, Eddie Fowlkes, Raquel Roberts, Gospel singer QuWonna Toney , Mike Anderson (Italy), Robert Doubledee Mills.
Santonio has a list too long to name of people he thanks keeping him committed to the dream and reminding him to never give up, however he would be remiss to not recognize the loving support of his wife and children, as well friends in music and life including Blake Baxter, Eddie Fowlkes and his brother Duane Evans.

Musik ist eine organisierte Form von Schallereignissen. Zu ihrer Erzeugung wird akustisches Material – Töne und Geräusche innerhalb des für den Menschen hörbaren Bereichs –, das einerseits physikalischen Eigengesetzlichkeiten, wie zum Beispiel der Obertonreihe oder Zahlenverhältnissen unterliegt, andererseits durch die Art seiner Erzeugung mit der menschlichen Stimme, mit Musikinstrumenten, elektrischen Tongeneratoren oder anderen Schallquellen gewisse Charakteristika aufweist, vom Menschen geordnet. Aus dem Vorrat eines Tonsystems werden Skalen gebildet. Deren Töne können in unterschiedlicher Lautstärke und Klangfarbe erscheinen und Melodien bilden. Aus der zeitlichen Folge der Töne und Geräusche verschieden langer Dauer entstehen Rhythmen. Aus dem Zusammenklang mehrerer Töne von jeweils anderer Tonhöhe erwächst Mehrstimmigkeit, aus den Beziehungen der Töne untereinander entsteht Harmonik.
