About Guau:
Hailing from Palma, Guau has collected many landmarks in his career, from collaborating with artists such Stanton Warriors, Future Funk Squad or Dread MC to found one of the most groundbreaking labels of broken rhythms, 83.  
The story of Guau is not something that has happened overnight but is the result of daily work for some years now.
In his career we can see that he was the creator of the hit vinyl "Pink" (Cut & Run, 2006), was the co-founder of Elektroshok Records (2009) and has performed in several Raveart’s "Summer Festival" and "Winter Festival", also in clubs such as Fabric (London) Cross Club (Prague) B3 (Seville) or Paris15 (Malaga).

Two years ago Paula Temple first fell in love with RIOT CODE after receiving their impressive early demo tracks and releasing "Her Eyes” last year on Noise Manifesto, which also received tremendous reactions.  ‘Anam Cara’ sees RIOT CODE explore deeper into the sonic embodiment of rave culture in Ireland. The EP title ‘Anam Cara’ is derived from the Irish language as the pair explore their rave heritage in their home town of Derry and how the city's unconventional charisma has helped shape the duo’s creative output. Translated as ‘Soul Friend’ in English, the offering serves as a rare moment of delicacy from Oliver and Stephen as they pay homage to their mentors Paula & Nicole, who have influenced the pair's artistic trajectory, and are close allies within the LGBTQ+ community. This EP shows RIOT CODE at their most vulnerable, honest and triumphant.  ‘Angel Gaze’ opens up the release with an ethereal influx of heavenly sweeping strings that ascend into massive breakbeats before its transformation into an emotionally charged anthem.  ‘Far From Home’ is an unapologetically peak-time techno monster of a track turning the dial to 11. This is a relentless acid-submerged scorcher. The energy continues to rise throughout the track as the duo perfectly executes striking kick-drum switch ups and jump-style breakdowns. It’s not so long since we were blessed with “In A Huff” and “After My Bae”, and already Herr Meth is back to provide us with a third goldmine EP full of homemade bangers: “Lost My Meth”, this time with a slamming remix by his partner in crime DJ Frankie. 

Still as angry as ever, all efforts by the Brainwaves’ chain of command to keep the Meth under a semblance of stability have been absolutely fruitless, and when he is not busy pumping out bangers for the expectant masses, he spends his time with his mischievous and potentially imaginary alien friend Brian, dropping bombs in nightclubs and generally consuming inhuman quantities of illegal extra-galactic crystal substances.
