Monsoon Traxx is a Leipzig-based DJ duo. Agi (also known as a techno DJ @ostbaaam) and Sassi (who is playing some 80s as Cevab Cici) are trying to bring back the hard, fast and oldschool sound of the 90s acid & trance. From time to time they vary their sets with some current though 90s alike sounds. Monsoon Traxx are now part of a new DJ collective @virgoleipzig, which works towards equality and creation of a party space free from discriminal behaviour.

Ende 2021 kommt das Systemabsturz-Album. Darin wird alles hochgenommen, wo ein Mindestmaß an Datenschutz und Anstand nicht eingehalten wird. Angefangen bei Staatstrojanern über Dating-Plattformen bis hin zu Cyber-Waffen-Fans im Verteidigungsministerium wird kräftig ausgeteilt. Aber auch Menschen mit Angst vor einem vermeintlichen Überwachungsstaat kriegen ihr Fett weg. Das alles mit der nötigen Prise Trash-Faktor und Mitgrölbarkeit.

Zur Band: Aufgewachsen in Stuttgart und München, mit Stipendien in Regelstudienzeit studiert und ihre Betriebssysteme stürzen öfter ab als sie selbst - eigentlich taugen Viktor und Sofia wenig für eine Punkband. Aber irgendjemand muss es ja machen, alles für den Datenschutz. Aus dem Spaßprojekt Systemabsturz wurde ein Spaßprojekt, dass man jetzt auch für Konzerte und Festivals buchen kann.
