Welcoming this vibrant duo to Afterlife, Yotto & Stephan Jolk.
This is Stephan's fourth appearance on the label in less than a year, but the first
collaboration with Yotto. With distinctive but synergic sounds, both artists are renowned for their ability to imbue their music with rich musicality and captivating rhythms. On 'New Era’ we are invited to join an odyssey into the infinite field of consciousness. The title track has the typical Yotto rippling rhythm that gallops along while drawing you into its orbit, whereas a melodramatic signature Stephan Jolk riff infiltrates your heart centre. On the flip ‘Only One’ takes a
more unassuming approach, the sombre tones complemented by the main melody which is melancholic, but at the same time uplifting. Dance music with pure soul at its core.

After the last massive releases, SNOE is happy to up the stakes with an EP from the labelboss himself Andreas Henneberg. With him on board he has Luca M and Channel X. This four track banger gets right into a funky mood with „Proper Job“ and it’s on spot kicks accompanying driving hihats and spinning sounds. „On The Fat Tracks“ rips up the dancefloor with it’s wobbling synth and catchy percussions. This combined with an uplifting vocal piercing through the rolling groove brings the energy level in this song to the max. Luca M’s remix of “Proper Job” gives a nice acidic techno twist to the EP with some killer groove-work and the touched up vocal. Channel X takes the vibe of “On The Fat Tracks” and turns it into a freaky dance kick in their own style with a pushing bassline moving forward with the twisted synth in what becomes an ever-escalating synergy of moving sounds. Hugely prolific German producers Kaiserdisco are back on one of their regular labels for a sixth fine EP of their searing grooves. That label is Drumcode, and the EP is Toleranz, a fantastic four track affair that features a fine remix from Pleasurekraft.

Hamburg based Kaiserdisco have been active since 2008, and in that time have put out 30 EPs and nearly 50 remixes. As well as running their own labels, KD Music and KD RAW, they are regulars on the likes of Suara and Tronic and are as able to headline a big festival stage as they are to lock down a more intimate club. Drumcode, of course, is one of the day’s foremost techno labels, with boss Adam Beyer ensuring only the most compelling beats make their way onto his Swedish imprint.

Up first is Get Enough, seven minutes of seductive techno that has an almost machine-gun like disco synth firing across the groove. It is a rumbling peak time track with real force and energy that will bring any floor to life. The title track, Toleranz, is a gritty and stripped back basement cut with dry hits and burrowing acid bass that takes you deep into the night. Cobra then proves this pair have real breadth in the studio and is a barrel chested house cut with more big hits, rib rattling bass and incendiary techno hi hats that really get you on your toes.

Remixing are the tech duo of Pleasurekraft, whose releases on Octopus and Mood Records have won them plenty of DJ and dancing fans. They layer in some dark melodies to SQ80 and build it steadily before allowing the militant drums and crisp snares to explode and drive you and the whole club forwards.

This is another big and high impact release from both Drumcode and Kasierdisco that is sure to make its mark on anyone who hears it.

Julian Wassermann and Raphael Mader join forces to present their debut ¨Aversion¨ EP on Oddity. The collaboration between the two Munich based producers, is the first one signed to the label, showcasing 4 beautiful melodic tracks, and an emotive but energetic remix by the talented Artche.

The EP opens with the lead track ¨Aversion¨ where you can listen to the detailed work, sound design and catchy melodies that the two producers print to their productions, starting with the right foot in one of the most interesting collaborations yet on the label.

Going deeper into the EP, Julian and Raphael present us ¨Panic¨ and ¨Moment of Clarity¨ where they dig deeper into the realm of pads and melodies, creating two emotive pieces with catchy arpeggios, leads and profounds ambiences.

Artche jumps into the remix duties, reworking ¨Moment of Clarity¨ into a more groovy and energetic cut, still preserving the emotional elements, but printing his stamp into the rework.

To close the pack, the guys show us the more minimalistic cut ¨Panic¨ where the vocal cuts plays with the percussive elements and synths, creating a dance floor peak time groover.
