This month we have a special 3 hour aLOLa Podcast (episode 10) with your host Omid 16B and special guests Roland Klinkenberg and Darin Epsilon sharing their musical vision and flavours.

To see the year end off nicely we start the show with Omid 16B’s first hour from a recent set at one of London’s most intimate venues “Basing House” with label friends Zombie Soundsystem hosting the event (13th December 2014), recorded live capturing the dynamics and soul yet pushing the limit on merging various styles and genres in house music.

On the second hour we are joined by one of Hollands finest producers Roland Klinkenberg with some dubbed out action, adding his own interpretation of mystery and love for the more subtle textures, in addition showcasing his remix of “Casablanca” by Marc Prause for aLOLa due out early 2015.

For the final and additional third hour we welcome Darin Epsilon who recently released “Peridot” on SexOnWax (aLOLa’s sister label), jumping on decks with an energy packed, more up tempo set showing us why he is one of USA’s most respected DJ/ Producers.

Joyce Muniz Invites Alinka - 5 April 2020

A few weeks ago, not long after we all went into lockdown, I decided to put together a mix, but I wanted it to be a little different from all of the mixes that were frequently popping up on social media. With that in mind I involved you in the process and asked for your suggestions of some of your favourite tracks from the past until now which I would include in the mix.

I was overwhelmed by the shear numbers of suggestions you put forward -  far too many to include all in one mix. However, I spent lot of time and love on the final mix, trying to create a special journey instead of just listing tracks that really stood out to me.

Digging through many old records like this, putting the mix together became quite emotional for me and it reminded me why I fell in love with electronic music in the first place.  It brought back many fond memories too. 
I really hope you enjoy listening to the results as much I did and I hope it stirs some memories, whether it be chills, smiles, tears or laughs for you all too.
