Carloh makes his debut outing on Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion with ‘Despierta’, a striking two-track EP set to close out August. Born in Sangolquí, Ecuador, the DJ/producer is widely regarded as one of South America’s key players in the global expansion of house music. Releases on iconic labels such as Desolat, Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, and Serán Bendecidos have helped shape his international reputation, with his blend of percussive rhythms and Andean textures drawing widespread support and chart success. ‘Despierta’ is an extension of that sound, a fusion of folkloric roots and forward-thinking club energy, grounded in percussion, hypnotic vocals, and a deep spiritual undertone. The EP reflects a connection to ancestral culture, channelled through a contemporary house music lens.
“South American music and Andean rhythms are part of who I am. House and electronic music weren’t part of my culture, but when I discovered them at 15, I fell in love. Though rooted in traditional songs, an electronic beat was always playing in my mind. I was drawn to modern soundscapes, to music that stirs something deeper. I sent my tracks to Damian Lazarus, and we connected. Because ‘Despierta’ isn’t just music. It’s the cry of the native spirit. A call to awaken. A journey... to Quito.” - Carloh.
Through his Latin House Gang project and his growing discography of standout releases, Carloh continues to reshape perceptions of Latin American dance music on the world stage. ‘Despierta’ sees him join the Rebellion family with a powerful message, channelled through a signature sound that is entirely his own.

La Fleur delivers an exquisite and brilliant mix for the 67th episode of the B4 Podcast.

La Fleur is without doubt one of the finest exponents of modern Swedish house & techno and in this mix, she develops a musical discourse with a strong personality. Travelling through a wide range of sound nuances, in these 60 minutes La Fleur intertwines industrial, spatial, melodic and playful moments, all tied together by the same thread: power and rhythm. 

La Fleur is an artist to be followed very closely. In 2018 she’s enjoying a rich vein of form, starting with the acclaimed ‘Exhaust’, which was released on Adam Beyer’s Truesoul imprint, followed by a strong EP in May titled ‘Outbreaker’ on Watergate Records, featuring a remix by Tuff City Kids, the buzzed side project of Gerd Janson. In August she laid down a critically acclaimed debut Essential Mix that received plaudits from across the industry. The year was also highlighted by a standout collaboration with Sasha titled ‘Förbindelse’ that was anointed Essential New Tune by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. 

Starting 2019 in fine fashion, in March she’ll release ‘Aphelion’ on her Power Plant label, making it the first EP on the imprint since 2017 (vinyl release: 8th March and digital release: 15th March) followed by a Speicher release on the renowned, Kompakt at the end of April.

La Fleur es sin duda una de las mayores exponentes del house y techno sueco moderno y, como tal, en este mix desarrolla un discurso musical con mucha personalidad. Viajando por una amplia gama de matices sonoros, en estos 60 minutos La Fleur intercepta momentos industriales, melódicos, espaciales y juguetones, todos unidos por un mismo hilo conductor: la potencia y el ritmo. 

La Fleur es una artista a la que se le debe poner mucha atención. En 2018 lanzó el aclamado ‘Exhaust’ en el sello Truesoul de Adam Beyer, seguido por el ‘Outbreaker EP’ publicado en Watergate Recird, que incluyó un remix de by Tuff City Kids (proyecto de Gerd Janson).
