Our guest on the show this month is Samihe. Born in Saudi Arabia, raised in Lebanon and now based in Miami, Samihe is a self-taught musician and talented producer who is at the fulcrum of an evolving music scene. 

His sound articulates stories, emotions and shared perspectives that connect with audiences across the spectrum of dance music through his intricate melodies and syncopated rhythms. He’s the co-founder of the Minds Alike label along with Baez and has releases out on Synth, Dream Culture and a new one called “Eureka” right here on Loot Recordings.

"mosey" (verb) : to walk or stroll at a leisurely pace...

Chicago based musician, DJ, and producer, “mosey” or Michael Osterhaus began playing classical at a young age on the clarinet and saxophone. Being a guitarist as well, his musical tastes were more focused around alt-rock and indie before diving into the world of electronic music after moving to Spain in 2014. Since that time he has become a well established warm-up DJ in Chicago. In the past few years, he has played along acts such as Rodriguez Jr, and Andhim at the legendary Spybar, as well as underground acts like Chaim with the Rituals underground crew. During 2019, Michael hosted a number of his own successful parties featuring Squire, Robbie Akbal, Christian Voldstad, and Viktop. Michael has been hard at work on his own original music that he hopes to share with the world this coming year.

“DJing provides an opportunity to create a mosaic of feelings and emotions particular to a specific time and place. I hope this selection of music can accompany you wherever your journey takes you.”
