Our latest addition in the collab with SLAM! FM is an intense set by Jimpster and Gabriel Ananda during ADE 2014. In the Boom Room, Deep House Amsterdam will have recurring segments like the 'spotlight track' where we pick our favourite new track of the week and a bi-weekly mix that we will co-host with them, the latest of which is now online: Sidney Charles. 

Jamie Odell, aka Jimpster, has been producing, remixing and DJing for the last 20 years and co-running esteemed UK deep house label Freerange Records (voted Best British Label 2007 in DJ Mag) for the last 17 of them. Gabriel Ananda is known for breaking hearing-habbits, using well dosed deep structured sounds. Connoisseurs of the uncommon enjoy his straight and fiddly cool beats, ranging from techno to house and everything in between. But definitions really become useless when Techno, House and Dub merge together like in Gabriel Anandas productions.

DIRTY UNIVERSE dj set deep/tech-house club (IBIZA POOL PARTY)august 2015

Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa and Luigi Tutolo are the Agents Of Time. The italian trio started this ambitious project in July 2013. Their first album has been released on a British label, Stem Records, in May 2014; the debut was soon followed by the landmark EP "Polina", on Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant, played and supported by the likes of Tale of Us, Dixon, Tiga, Agoria, John Digweed and many more.; soon after they've been pleased to remix Whomadewho's "Traces" in January 2015.
The trio's evolving sound, a fusion of strong elements that deal with electronic, progressive, techno and ambient, found home again in the French label leading to the release of the Emperor EP (May 2015) and the single "Lotus Flower" on Correspondant's compilation (June 2015). 
The Agents of Time's live performance is characterized by the use of analogic instruments that make the product unique in its genre; their meticolous care for the details brought them around the world in more than 20 different countries, mostly playing live, often djing, and even with an orchestra (the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich), in just one year. 

The future is unwritten and much more is reasonable to expect: nothing is left to chance, all is entrusted to time.

Guy J's Lost & Found is riding high in 2015 with its flow of exceptional releases that now continue with a bumper package of remix interpretations of some of the standout tracks from Guy Mantzur & Sahar Z's critically acclaimed "Time" album - a stunning audio journey, so distinctly special that it has captivated audiences on a global scale, breaking through simplistic genre boundaries and uniting people through its exploration of the psyche of modern electronic dance music. After the success of Powers of Ten, Stephan Bodzin's latest and greatest full length, the German tastemaker has now invited a key selection of artists to remix tracks from it. This great collection will be released digitally—with two bonus remixes by Super Flu and Marc Romboy—as well as on vinyl on the 18th December 2015. The original album came in June on Bodzin's own Herzblut Recordings and was a hugely personal affair that has been played far and wide by DJs and danced to by clubbers all over the world. Now breathing fresh life and different perspectives into the original source material are the likes of big name stars Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more. Things kick off with Ellum Audio boss Maceo Plex and Shall Ocin, who flip 'Powers of Ten' into a serene and slow burning track full of spiritual synth lines and heavenly pads, before Spanish pair Edu Imbernon and Coyu work their magic on 'Wir' and reimagine it as a sumptuous and slow burning tech track with a droning baseline and cosmic melodies. Influential Crosstown Rebels act Fur Coat then tackle 'Singularity' and cook up a brooding, elongated main room track that locks you into its groove and never lets you go. Next, long time Bodzin collaborator and friend Marc Romboy makes 'Ix' into a tense tech tool that balances on a knife edge as menacing bass roams and rolls below. From there, Cocoon team and live specialists Extrawelt makes 'Blue Giant' into a spooky minimal cut that is full of haunting atmosphere, festival headlining Second State pair Pan-Pot then offer lots of tense groove and sombre machine melodies on their version of 'Zulu.' In the second half there are dark remixes from Max Cooper, intense synth jams from Agents of Time, typically beautiful and musical offerings from Dominik Eulberg, tripped out techno rollers from Gabriel Ananda and two digital only remixes of 'Birth' that are deep and inviting from Super Flu and clean, reflective and soothing from Marc Romboy. Monoloc also comes up with the goods on his deep and dubby remix of 'Singularity'. This collection plays out almost like a mix, taking you up and down and through many different styles of electronic music, each as absorbing and essential as the next, and that's all thanks to the on point and informed A&R of label boss Stephan Bodzin.

Partial PR: The 45th release on microCastle welcomes Navar & Mononoid to the label for the debut of their collaborative project. Dutch artist Navar returns to the Canadian imprint following his 'Moments In Life EP' from November of 2014. As one of the underground's most creative talents Navar has shaped a sound all his own, full of soulful qualities and organic design. Appearances on Guy J's Lost & Found Records coupled with a sparse release schedule has only made the love for his sound stronger. Meanwhile Mononoid, also hailing from the Netherlands are making their much anticipated label debut. First conceptualized in 2011, Andy Godderis and Igor Shumlyanskiy make up the Mononoid production duo. A string of releases on Traum got their career off to a great start and their modern take on techno has since been showcased by Einmusika, Lost & Found and Sisyphon. Much like Navar, Mononoid has been praised for their creative vision and the fusion of these three intuitive minds was a project that had to be put into motion. Some winter months locked away in the studio has resulted in the much anticipated three track EP entitled 'Dreambox', alongside a remix from YokoO of Musik Gewinnt Freunde and All Day I Dream.

The release begins with 'Ad Litem', which finds the trio crafting a tough yet soulful techno creation. Led by a mystical motif and broken percussion, it's rugged grooves and mysterious atmospheres take you on a thought provoking journey. There's a magical ending to the subversive moods and one which is worth exploring many times over; in the words of the guys "Ad Litem was a cosmic attraction between all of us, a unique energy stream with spiritual undertones, but for all of its energies there was something very profound waiting at the end; it was our carnival train ride to the guardians of Ad Litem."

Adam Beyer’s Drumcode juggernaut attracts more fans and critical plaudits with each passing year. Holding firm on its future facing ethos, techno’s number one label presents a new volume in its acclaimed A-Sides series with 20 prime tracks to signify its 20th anniversary. 

Such is the volume of quality music Adam Beyer receives throughout the course of the year, releasing all of it would be impossible. Enter the blue chip A-Sides series: a chance for the quality-obsessive label head to issue a collection of outstanding tracks that couldn’t fit in their regular EP release schedule. 

With an eye on future talent, as much as the label’s established roster of heavy-hitters, the compilation showcases the full breadth of Drumcode’s multifaceted techno sound, equal parts inspiring and functional. 

Led by the stealth techno funk of ‘Nine of You’, Beyer’s deft collaboration with Mark Reeve, the compilation takes in exciting highlights from big guns such as Alan Fitzpatrick, Dustin Zahn, Bart Skils, Pleasurekraft, Luca Agnelli, Jay Lumen, Kaiserdisco and Gary Beck. 

The rich vein of form displayed by emerging techno talent is similarly given prime position. Rising DJ/producer Boxia makes his Drumcode debut, fresh from a well-received warm up set for the crew at the hugely successful Junction 2 festival in London, while the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano, Juan Sanchez, Ian O’Donovan and Timmo also drop fire, establishing their credentials as some of the most promising talent breaking through the ranks in 2016. 

Reinforcing the global scope of the label, artists such as The Junkies from Toronto and Layton Giordani from New York, prove techno is winning a place in the heart of the new generation of artists coming out of North America.
