Erick Eduardo López Torres, better known as HVDRA, is a Mexican DJ and producer who embodies the brutality and intensity of Hard Techno and Hard Dance, two of the most powerful genres in electronic music. Inspired by the mythological creature “The Lernaean Hydra” and the symbolism of ancient Greece, HVDRA unleashes that wild energy to deliver power, darkness, and passion through each of his tracks and live sets.

With an imposing aesthetic and an explosive connection with the crowd, his stage presence and sonic identity have left their mark at some of the most important events in Mexico’s Hard scene. 

Among his most notable performances are:
X-MAS in December 2021, where he made a fierce debut that marked the beginning of a project with undeniable strength. We Are Cango in July 2022, shaking the crowd with a demolishing set that pushed the stage to full capacity. K1-Birthday in September 2022, as part of Team Blue alongside Divisium, Saiperkz, and Sound Driver, spreading raw energy through powerful beats. EDC México (Silent Party) in February 2023, bringing Hard sound to a broader audience at one of the biggest festivals in the country. All The Memories in April 2023 with The King’s, taking part in the first-ever Hard Dance-only festival in Mexico. We Build The Future in September 2023, delivering an epic versus set in a mythical clash against Stonecat. 

And his most ambitious performance so far: The Judgment Day in April 2024, where—alongside MC Flo—HVDRA ignited the flames of the festival’s MainStage with a stunning outfit and mask, striking a deep chord with the crowd in a night to remember for all Hard lovers.

In 2025, HVDRA keeps rising, taking part in key events such as the birth of his first self-produced event, THE RISE, held on August 2, 2025 under his brand ARMAGEDDON a night that brought together fresh and powerful forces from the Mexican Hard scene, marking a turning point in his career as both artist and promoter. The release of his first official remix for the artist DAXL, after winning his Remix Contest with a devastating Hard Techno version of the track “Rev It Up”.

The universe of HVDRA is not just musical, it’s a mythological experience reimagined on the dancefloor. His mission: ignite the masses, open emotional portals, and position Mexican Hard sound as an unstoppable force on the international stage.
