It had to happen eventually. 
Prolonged break and finally fourth heavy selection-compilation-filtration from the series “homo abiēns” : )  that gently unfolds the relationship between the moon and the soul.

Is music necessary for life? With so many crises happening all over the world, is music still essential? My gaze is turned inward
might suggest that the answer is “yes.”

More than four hours of rough neo-soul-nostalgia meeting industrial coolness, flying-dream elektro-fantasies, a small pinch of trippy-disco, sweaty-hedonistic chicago house and a huge catalog of woozy sophistication to die for. 

Here are some of the best ultra-functional dance tracks that have been with me in the car, in the headphones, in the smell of hair, in the evening sky last 12 months, whole set of deeply weird and wild releases that are more about cascading and catapulting sounds than they are any given genre.

This 4th edition really heavyweight emotional content  It’s been a great reminder that music really can nourish mind, body and soul—sometimes all at once.

Joe Cleen is back on SBEDITZ after his first outing smashed dancefloors worldwide. Dare we say this EP is even better than the first?! So get ready for another set of Disco bombs that blur the lines between edits and full blown reworks.

‘Time For Love’ rolls in where the last EP left off. Thumping drums over motor city soul samples and a huge disco soul breakdown that combine to level any dancefloor. 

‘Day In Day Out’ steps up with a hefty House bassline like it’s time to jack, but Joe cleverly switches the direction with gigantic filtered Rhodes licks swinging in. Throw in some serious slap bass, organs & powerful piano chords and it’s another signature JC disco funk jam.

‘So Long’ is a looped up disco stomper with Joe hitting the keys as hard as possible. Chopping in all forms of piano, splicing in big intergalactic sweeps and disco vocals that will take you on a trip to the outer reaches of the cosmos. 

‘Do My Thing’ ties up the EP with lashings of piano, organ and clav that all dance away over a toughened bassline. Sprinkle liberally with funk sampled vocals, layers of percussion and you’ve got an all night long burner on your hands.
