Hello friends ! Today we share the fantastic 65th episode of the Series by Paul2B.

Paul2B started to get into mixing as a teenager.
Over the years, his music has evolved through many genres like Trance, Micro, Deep House, and Techno...
Percussion, groovy basslines and organic textures are the main ingredients of his sets. During the pandemic, music played an important role in mental health. Taking a particular interest in nature, he got more and more into ambient music. He has released mixtapes for techno labels / channels like Lowless, Anodynic Frequencies, and also contributed to a VA for N F E R E E's label.

Stellar Series Episode 65 - Paul2B (Divine Nature)

This sound work is part of the project "Nature of Sound". It is a research-artistic project based on the ideas of acoustic ecology, the biophilia hypothesis, and the study of soundscapes as an important part of cultural and scientific experience, aiming to restore the connection between humans and nature through sound. Sensonica records soundscapes during expeditions to secluded natural places around the world.
In today’s world, overloaded with artificial sounds and technological noise, people are losing the ability to hear and appreciate the sounds of nature. "Nature of Sound" is a call to reconsider the acoustic environment around us, restore our connection to nature, and raise awareness about issues of acoustic ecology. For the listener, it is an opportunity to regain a mindful perception of the world, to improve emotional well-being, and find inner harmony.
@sensonica Sensonica (Yulia Gogoleva) is a sound re-searcher and sound artist, sound therapist, lecturer, curator, and writer, focusing on the intersection of sound, art, experimental elec-tronics, and mental and physical health, with a special emphasis on the influence of sound and music on the human being. In her research and practice, she combines modern science with ancient knowledge.

Music From Memory is delighted to announce a new album from Son Of Chi entitled ’We Carry Eden’, an immersive long-form composition in two parts that seamlessly blends a collage of spoken word, field recordings and drones with elements of dub, jazz, fourth world and ambient music. 

Son Of Chi is the latest project of Rotterdam-based multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Hanyo van Oosterom. Van Oosterom’s prolific career spans multiple decades and genres; among countless projects he has been involved in, he is known for founding the Dutch ambient collective CHI in the early eighties, and in recent years for his prolific collaboration with CHI co-founder Jacobus Derwort as Chi Factory. Following Derwort’s passing in 2019, van Oosterom decided to close the CHI circle with the birth of Son Of Chi. 

Sonically, the world of ‘We Carry Eden’ is fully immersive; it ripples with depth and shimmers in detail. Motifs, ideas and fragments, arise and disappear like passing thoughts, drawing the listener deeper and deeper inwards. For those familiar with Oosterom’s work as Chi Factory, the depth and meditative nature of the work will come as no surprise; however it is Oosterom’s skill with grooves that shines equally bright here; his infectiously dubby basslines and percussion rise up from the ether, grounding the listener to the earth. ‘We Carry Eden’ at times invokes the fourth world landscapes of Jon Hassell, (with whom Oosterom has collaborated) but as a whole, it remains the unique work of an artist fully in tune with their vision. 

Thematically, storytelling traditions lie at the heart of ‘We Carry Eden’, with van Oosterom’s long-time collaborator Omar Ka playing a central role. Ka, who hails from the West African nomadic Fulani tradition of storytelling, responds to the collage of field recordings and sounds collected by Oosterom. His voice is woven throughout ‘We Carry Eden’, creating a narrative that binds the multiple sound sources of the album together. 

As with much of van Oosterom’s musical output, inspiration is drawn from the Greek Island of Patmos and the wisdom and prophecies of the Native American Hopi Tribe. Since his work with CHI in the early eighties, van Oosterom has often incorporated quotes from Hopi Elders into his music. Gods, spirits, animals and humans, all existing in one unchangeable relationship tied to nature; ‘We Carry Eden’ is rooted in this philosophy, serving as a peaceful message of beauty, harmony and respect for the wisdom of the Elders and ancient traditions.

Human Lessons #101 - Atmøsphäre

Berlin-based KLIKERKLUB presents a journey into the dark beauty of Ukrainian independent sounds in two parts.

"Прекрасна темрява" is a vibrant dialogue between experimental dark folk and avant-garde gems from the 1980s–1990s and contemporary dark ambient, electro, and indie tracks—where beauty and hope always shine through the darkness.

KLIKERKLUB has been based in Berlin, Germany, since 2002. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, it has been producing podcasts and albums and curating concerts exclusively with Ukrainian artists.

KLIKERKLUB is deeply grateful for this incredible cultural exchange and the opportunity to share its perspective on Ukrainian independent music.

After a quiet stretch, Silent Season briefly emerges from hibernation to present Kumonomori, a new EP from Hidden Sequence — the duo of Paul Simmons and Stefano Ugliano. Longtime fans of the label, the pair crafted these tracks with Silent Season in mind, drawing deeply from the textures and moods that define the catalog.

Kumo no Mori (雲の森) — which translates from Japanese as Cloud Forest — is a contemplative journey through sky forests and ancient echoes, rooted in the organic pulse of deep ambient techno. Each track unfolds with a sense of patience and depth: from the drifting warmth of Bisaro Anima to the dappled light of Komorebi, through the reverberations of memory in Ancestral Echos, and finally into the misty stillness of Cloud Forest.

Originally tucked away while the label lay dormant, the release now sees light with spring’s arrival and the timing of Bandcamp Friday — a moment that felt right to share this work with the world. Kumonomori is a quiet offering from the den, a reminder of the timeless sounds that continue to shape Silent Season.

A live jams collection of ritual psychedelic soundscapes that have absorbed the power, calm and silence of some Ukrainian sacred sites - Devil’s Rocks of Vynnyky forest, Ternoshory archaeo-astronomical complex, ancient cave monasteries of Bakota and Rozgirche, a lonely Buddhist temple on top of a Carpathian mountains, Trakhtemyriv peninsula etc. “The way this place makes you feel", that is, it contains a set of ambient sensations that allows you to feel the present moment of time in this place more deeply. Although it is impossible to explain in words, it is much easier to feel and hear.

The mood of the music is a warm, captivating darkness in which otherworldly and abstract sound objects move, greeting either the works of Rapoon or Rod Modell, or the 90’s ambient rave improvised jams of Ambient Temple of Imagination.
