Resolve

I've been writing music for years that's primary focus is to provoke feelings of Nostalgia. I've attempted to achieve this using the typical format found in the "wave" sub genres. "Wub, Wub minor chord progression over 4/4 rhythm". As popular as this style has become in recent years, personally, I've found it to be particularly restrictive. So, with that in mind. I wanted to expand on it. Provoke those same feelings of Nostalgia, only this time utilising a more abrasive sound pallet. Take the same nostalgic value associated with a fluttering cassette and apply it to a juttering compact disk. I wanted to write music that would feel equally appropriate during a night drive through the city centre as it would through a pair of headphones as you contemplate the inner workings of a machine haha!
