OLIV is one co-founder of ZENA and part of Fluid Festival. She is a music lover and explorer at heart. For several years she has been turning knobs and records - always varying between different genres such as Experimental, Electroacoustic Music, House, Breakbeat, Electro, Acid and Bass. Since some months she also hosts her own bi-monthly radio show linger for a moment on Callshop Radio. 

For this Fluid Festival showcase OLIV has played a mix that invites you to unwind and enjoy the calm sense of comfort.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless sounds of House and the infectious grooves of Italo Disco, jon bouvier infuses his sets with a distinct flair, trying to create an experience with a wide range of musical influences. 
As the turntables spin, he tries to create a harmonious blend of old-school charm and cutting-edge tracks.

He can often be found with his twin brother behind the turntables. Les Bouviers love to balance between genres. From disco to breakbeat, from house to italo. Everything may happen, as long as it makes the bodies move and the faces grin.

jon bouvier started his musical journey as a DJ in Berlin but developed his sound in Dresden. For over 5 years the Dresdener by choice has been actively involved in the electronic music scene - whether at illegal raves, independent festivals, in clubs or as co-founder and resident of @fragmenteddigital

Willkommen zur nächsten Instanz von Metamix. Dieses Mal präsentieren wir euch einen DJ-Mix von Lamé, Mitbegründerin von Metaware, der bei den Open Decks des @kollektiv99 im Kalif Storch in Erfurt gespielt wurde. 
Loui, die unter dem Namen Lamé auflegt, ist seit vielen Jahren in der Thüringer und vor allem Weimarer Subkulturszene aktiv. Sie packt an den unterschiedlichsten Stellen mit an: von der Organisation und Koordination von Events, bis hin zum Technikaufbau bei Partys und Mitwirken am Abendprogramm. Ähnlich weit gefächert ist ihr Repertoire an Genres, die sie abdeckt. Von HipHop über Disco und House bis hin zu Breaks und Electro - Lamés Performance ist vielseitig. Für Lamé gehören alle Subgenres der elektronischen Musik aufgrund ihrer gemeinsamen Wurzeln in afroamerikanischer Musik zusammen, sie bauen aufeinander auf und referenzieren sich immer wieder gegenseitig und entwickeln sich auch teilweise analog zueinander weiter. Sie zieht viel Kraft und Motivation für ihre Arbeit aus den Ursprüngen der Clubkultur, die vor allem Räume der Entfaltung für Mitglieder der LGBTQIA*-Community waren. Gemeinsam mit den anderen Mitgliedern des FLINTA*-Netzwerks METAWARE aus Weimar kämpft sie für eine vielfältigere Clubkulturlandschaft - one party at a time.
Der Mix ist eine Mischung aus House mit Einflüssen von Italo-Disco, Wave und Dream House. Lasst euch von den hypnotischen Grooves und pulsierenden Beats verzaubern, während Lamé eine nostalgische Reise durch verschiedene musikalische Stile unternimmt.

@djkbye begann ihr DJ-Dasein vor 1,5 Jahren mit einer Loop von „Hi Barbie, Hi Ken“, aus der sie glücklicherweise irgendwann wieder herausgekommen ist. Wenn man ihren Stil in drei Worten beschreiben müsste, dann wären das wohl: Breaks, breaks, breaks. k bye lädt immer wieder dazu ein, die Grenzen des Gewohnten zu überschreiten, denn in ihrer Track Selection lassen sich die Four to the Floor Kicks an einer einzigen Hand abzählen. Was mit G-Tech und einer ordentlichen Portion Bootyshake begann, hat mittlerweile etwas mehr Ernsthaftigkeit gewonnen. Aber keine Sorge: Trotz des Exports von 01099 nach 04317 lassen ihre Sets zwischen gebrochenen Rhythmen, bouncigem Electro und treibenden Basslines auch noch genug Raum für verspielte Synths und Einflüsse aus dem Hip Hop.

Während sie vor allem mit high-energy tunes begonnen – spielen sie mittlerweile emotionalere Sets, die sich zwischen dubby, basslastigen und perkussiven Sounds bewegen. Spending most of his teenage years listening to Hip-Hop, Niklas discovered his love for electronic music by entering Hamburg’s club scene. Since he heard the sound of a stomping kick drum for the first time, he lost his heart to beat. Shortly after, he bought himself a pair of turntables and from that moment on, he spent most of his time digging in record shops such as Otaku Records or Smallville.

The classic sound is his passion - from cities like Chicago, Detroit or New York - but he doesn’t limit himself to a particular genre and plays whatever pleases his ears. Together with friends, he organized several events in different locations all over Hamburg before the pandemic pressed pause. Now located in Berlin, he’s ready to bring back his sound to the dance floors. 

The nostalgia of the times, when Niklas' music was a frequent part of Hamburg's house music scene, moved us to present to you his vinyl only sound - We're more than honoured to have him in our radio roster!
