Diynamic Music celebrate the release of 'Cajun Lunch' the brand new artist album from Norway's Ost & Kjex, with the release of the first single to be taken from the long player, 
'Continental Lover'. The most unique and exciting vocal duo in electronic music return to Diynamic for the first time since their 2008 collaboration with label chief Solomun'Federgewicht'. Having provided the vocals for Jamie Jones' smash hit 'Summertime', the duo have never been far from the dancefloor. 'Continental Lover' the first single to be taken from the album, perfectly demonstrates the duo's fresh, dance floor focus. Wonderfully soulful, harmonized vocals flow deliciously over powerful synth chords. An acapella break becomes inspired and driven by a throaty piano riff as the gorgeous vocals once again shine. With this being a Diynamic Remix Session release, what more could we expect than a bumper package of mixes? First up is Cologne's ruler of the deep Pawas, who creates a beautiful soundscape of softly throbbing bassline, sweeping atmospheric synths and spookying up the original's keys. Wonderful. Next up, label regular and producer of the moment UNER, as always, delivers his own brand of funk. Stabbing the synths and lacing the keys, the Catalan injects some pace, and using the vocal creates a dance floor smash. Rounding out the package in style is none other than long 
time Diynamic member, Stimming. Stripped and elegant, Stimming's reworking takes on a ride of his magical music box. Deepness at its best. 

Ost & Kjex - Continental Lover (Stimming Remix)

First up on the Ambious schedule is ‘Treasure’ by label head Nick Supply. The release stays true to his distinctly clean and sophisticated sound, with refreshing bass line melodies and moody synth pads. 

Kicking things off at 110BPM, ‘Treasure’ is the perfect start to any daytime dance floor, featuring big, round bass and the right amount of bounce. Next up is ‘Sundays,’ appropriately named for its ease of listening and ‘last day of the week’ feel. Finishing off with ‘Bergen,’ the EP is well-rounded and sets a steady, yet ambitious tone for the future of Ambious Records.

Cruising (Instrumentals)

For our 23rd release, we turn to South African based artists, Weston & Engine to show us a taste of the local underground that’s been emerging in the past few months for their debut Ambious Records release. Keeping true to their sound, they have delivered nothing short of a groovy, elemental mix of deep and hypnotic flavored House Music, that we’re excited to bring forward to showcase a bit of what these boys have been up to.

The first track off the EP, ‘Dream Interpretations’, remains true to its name. Ethereal dub chords flow over a groove-based low end that is reminiscent of what a dancefloor in our dreams might sound like. 

The second track, ‘Self Communication’ sets the tone with a melancholic piano progression that moves through the beat and leads the way for the strings and bass to add texture and weight to the tension and mood. 

Next up, we have, ‘Above or Below the Centre’ produced alongside local DJ and producer Guy Herman. Setting the pace for the rest of the EP, the organic layers back up the movement of the melody and move into an open landscape that is sure to get any dancefloor grooving with its undeniable atmosphere.

And lastly, ‘Not The Ending’ rounds off the EP perfectly, with a nostalgic piano melody and an arpeggiated lead that keeps things moving until the very end. With subtle chords and pad’s moving throughout, a perfect final track to a well-rounded EP to help close things off in a style that these boys have become known for.
